Great shoe! Used on 450 miles of a desert pct hike and they held up. Vetted comfy for putting the big miles in on rough terrain, the thick sole provides plenty of cushion from the rocks. Fit is excellent true to size abd 4e runs true.

I purchased these shoes specifically for my daily walks where I'm aimin for 10-12k steps. At first, I purchased a 11-Wide shoe which is a bit larger than I'd normally get, but I read that some people thought they ran a little small, especially in the toe area, so I bumped up the size in the hopes it would fit well. When I received them, I found that they are still a bit tight in the toe area, but I was hoping they'd break in. However, after a week of my walks, I found that the shoes were comfortable with the exception of the toe area. I also found that at first, I had a little bit of calf pain, but that subsided after about five days and now there's zero pain when walking.I decided that I'm going to return the 11-Wides and I ordered 11.5-Extra Wides. I received those yesterday and put them through their paces today. These fit much better and are much more comfortable. The tightness around the toe area is gone and these are a keeper. I find the padding and support is very good and they're comfortable. I don't know how they'd hold up for running or jogging, but that wasn't why I bought them. They also don't look bad and I can wear them all day with no discomfort, though I typically switch shoes and only use these when I'm on my actual walks, versus general running around. These are my first shoes of this brand and I'd buy them again, but I just need to understand I need to go up about a full size and go wider if I want comfort. I knocked off a star simply because an 11-Wide should have been more than sufficient, but they were not. I've never had to buy a shoe larger than an 11-Wide my entire life until these.

I forgot how light these shoes feel. My old ones worn out. I had two pairs. I was going to order them again a few months back, but got the wrong sizes, returned them and then proceeded to forget reordering. Since my old ones didn't feel that worn out to me, I thought that it was okay to just keep wearing them. But A few days ago I got the new shoes, wow, what a huge difference! They feel so great on my feet and for my joints. The old shoes worn out slowly, so I could not feel the difference or how worn out they were. Get yourself the new shoes, the old ones can't last forever, and spending a little money to keep the join support is worth it. Now I run with them it feels like stepping on the clouds. Based on my old shoes, they do last very long, but I am not going to wait that long again. Plus they look great. I am buying another pair now in different style. I can't believe, I totally forgot how light and great they feel.
