After shopping endlessly for a fountain and getting rather frustrated at the ridiculous prices for them. I started looking for a skimmer, because I needed one for my one acre pond. This item appeared which is a "fountain" and a "skimmer". So I ordered two of them. I must tell you, this product is worth the money and it works beautifully. I used the fountain for a couple of days and then when my second one came in the mail, I set it up as a full time skimmer. Even after a very hefty storm, when I woke up the next morning to check the skimmer, the pond was spotless and all of the floating contaminates that are usually floating around in my pond each morning were in the skimmer! So you can get one and switch the button to either the fountain or the skimmer, or do what I did and get two because this is definitely the best price with best options with best performance. Thank you for creating this fountain/skimmer. I love it and so does the pond.

I use this more as a skimmer for my pool. It works fantastic. I like that I can change it into a fountain after it skims all the stuff on the surface of my pool. I have been using this for 3 months and it still going strong. I was afraid at the price it would not last long but that is not the case. Well worth the money, I have recommended it to all my friends with pools.Update - I have used this for over a year almost non stop and it still works fantastic! My only complaint is I can't find any where to purchase replacement filter sponges. I have worn the one that came with it out.

Stopped working correctly after 3 days. Just a little trickle comes out. No debris in the pond.

Update 9/17/24:The seller was great to work with and sent out a replacement unit. I plugged it in and it works perfect. I love the look and power behind this fountain. The fish love swimming around and over it as well.I got this in the mail and assembled it as the instructions describe. Nothing worked at all. I tried to remove the screws to access the motor and they’re so tight, it stripped them partially before they finally loosened. Once I got it removed, I was able to manipulate the impeller to get it to run, but it will not run at all while assembled. At least with most aquarium filters, you can access the impeller easily, so you can push it down or twist slightly to dislodge it and it will work fine. For this fountain, it has plastic parts over the impeller and deep below the filter contents, so you’re unable to manipulate the impeller at all. I was really looking forward to this fountain and I can’t make it work any way that I try. I do not recommend this product.

I have a small pond without a skimmer. My underwater pump is clogged frequently. I was looking for a potable skimmer and found this product. This is dual function as a skimmer and a fountain. I set it up as a skimmer. It works well to collect floating leaves. The package also includes submersible light with beautiful colors. I also like customer service. I asked a question regarding this product and they responded promptly and helped me to solve my question. I really like this product and customer service.

Quality is good but it clogs fast constantly having to change pad and empty maybe it’s just my pond but wouldn’t by again!

This works great. Took some time and experimenting to get it to work like I wanted (instructions aren't the greatest) but works great. Glad I purchased it.

Pumps and skimmer works ok, but unless you use it in a small fountain or water feature (which doesnt really need a skimmer) its not super useful as the power cord's 30 feet is very limited in range. Its pretty big in size and the jet power is good.
