They are heavy. Great it means they won't blow over.These steps are easy to set up also easy to fold and lean against the nearest wall. I was very surprised to see that the were made in China. They are really well, made very sturdy and the treads are deep enough so your feet do not slip through. The shelf at the top is big enough to hold a bucket let alone a paint tin. I am impressed.

I love these ladders!! They are so sturdy and do not wobble about and you feel supported when stood on the top rungs. They are great value for money and the top shelf is very handy for sitting your can of paint on, the only slight criticism I can say is that the top shelf could not accommodate a large roller tray but I have a smaller one that I used instead. They are quite heavy to carry around but if you want some stepladders that are sturdy then this is the downside.

Sturdy set of step ladders. Steel - not aluminium, so a bit heavier than normal. Easy to assemble. Safe to work on - steady on feet, no wobbles! Rungs very wide and nonslip, handles on sides and across top. large tray for tools, screws, etc. If you have lost a bit of confidence working at height (like me - fell off a ladder and shattered my ankle), these are a good buy, especially if on discount..

These steps are fully assembled except for the very useful tray / holder which simply slides over the rails and clips in place . No tools or skill required.They are stylish and sturdy with wide flat treads allowing you to comfortably stand at any height . They fold very flat so they are easy to store away in a narrow spot or even slide them underneath something .They are easily high enough to reach ceilings and light fittings and if necessary the very top of wall cupboards, great for cleaning downstairs windows.They are quite heavy but that adds to the durability and the build quality. They feel like they will last and last

Purchased item as wanted something extra sturdy with handrails for safety. Ladders are perfect and felt completely at ease climbing them (I panic when climbing ladders, but with the added safety of hand rails, was able to climb with ease, without the fear of falling). The ladders are quite heavy (which isn’t a bad thing), the tray is a perfect addition…. was perfect as was able to hold all relevant tools needed for the job, and also a paint tray (no up and down ladders several times to reload a paintbrush/roller).We personally would recommend these ladders, as functionality and Stability was the whole reason we purchased them.I will add, opening for the first time was a little tricky, but once getting used to how they open/close, there were no further issues.

Good sturdy stepladder, perfect for reaching the ceiling. Very useful platform for tools and tins of paint. Folds away for storage. A purchase that I’m glad I made . Thankyou
