I love this stuff!
Hey, I know it’s just salt, but it’s better than regular table salt. OK, aside from the extra minerals and all that (maybe a bit of marketing) it’s the texture that is so great. It’s like a crushed, flaky texture, rather than typical grains. It adheres to foods much better, with better overall coverage, so it really enhances and opens up flavors more than traditional salt. Yes, it costs more than regular table salt, but even this smaller shaker will last a long time, so additional cost over time is very minimal and well worth it. I’m sold!

Convenient Shaker with Fine Celtic Salt has 82+ Minerals
Delicious and healthy. There is no point in purchasing regular synthetic table salt when hand harvested options such as this are available. The body needs optimal ingredients to function optimally! Use this on foods including snacks such as popcorn. Like the fine texture of the salt. Although bags have more value, this shaker is convenient.

Hard to rate--just opened & tasted it
The info on the back states it has an unique flavor and has preserved RICH mineral content and retains over 82 minerals and micro nutrients essential for health (magnesium, calcium, potassium, and iron) and supports overall health. BUT the nutrition facts per 1/4 tsp only lists sodium (19%) and Iron (2%). My assessment is that is tastes similar to Iodized table salt. Now it is my understanding that many minerals are only needed in small amounts, but why don't they give the numbers for the magnesium, calcium, potassium, and iron? I am trying to get what I need in my diet and not have to rely entirely on expensive supplements. A little hard to do if I don't know what other minerals contribute to the 82 referred to or the tested daily USDA % of each. If the 82 mineral reference is true and they are all beneficial--it would be reassuring that they are present. My game plan is to create a composite of Celtic, Black Lava (tastes wonderful by the way), Himalayan Pink, and Iodized salts for general use to enjoy the benefits of all of them.

Surprised how good it tastes
Haven’t seen clumps yet or wet spots. I pinch the salt out. There is some iodine from drying in sun . Feels healthy to use . The sodium level is lower. Yet adds all the minerals we need. Satisfies my salt tastes, so i use less.
