It’s detailed and has nice lighting effects. It’s plastic do lightweight. Plug in hub is very delicate and breaks easy so be careful. I had to re solder the connectors.

My wife has been collecting the ornaments in this series for all 40 years.....I get her one every Christmas. She also has many other Hallmark ornaments of varying types and has enjoyed them each Christmas.

I have these starting from 1984. Sometimes it's hard to find the date; sometimes they forget it. This year's too modern for me. My favorite is the Craftmans House. Getting a bit cheaper looking as the years progress. Not made in American anymore. Too bad.

I've been getting these for both of my daughters for their whole lives, (36 & 34 yrs. now). OR to be very honest, if they've only been 'out' for 30 yrs ~ then I claim that #. I do know that they have never needed fixing, or painting, ~ all they need is a bit of washing down ~ yup, under water 💦. Now Hallmark will probably say not to clean them under water, but I squirt them down with a very mild cleaner & rinse them down & they have never needed to go to a 'doll hospital' (yes, they DO exist!!) (Or DID). I'm not going to "recommend" doing what I do, all I can say is after being wrapped in tissue paper OR if you have the box, use that ~ after being 'kept clean' for approx. 10 mos a year, even I would need washing down every few yrs!! ENJOY!! & Enjoy seeing your children's faces, or your own for that matter ~ when they're being opened!!! It is now 3:13 am!!! And I stayed awake for y'all 😊😁 gladly!!

My mom started this ornament series when I was a small child. I love all of them and the attention to detail! However, now that I’m grown, I have to buy them. I feel like my mom gave me a financial obligation in the form of adorable Hallmark ornaments. It’s not like I can just skip one or quit. Momma didn’t raise no quitter. But I’m sure with the money I have invested in these I could retire, except every year I cry when another one comes out!

It's Hallmark. What's not to love. It's quality. My children are adults now, but I started getting these for them when they were babies and never stopped. Each have their own special "series" dedicated to them. My son has rocking horses and my daughter has nostalgic houses. They hung on the family Christmas tree as they grew up and were given to them when they ventured out. Now they are still given as gifts each year as a tradition.

I ordered this for my daughter. She loves lighthouses. I find the price for a small plastic ornament way too high, almost double the price from last year. Changing the magic power cord after x amount of lighthouses, is ridiculous.
