Works well, good speed, easy to setup.

I did my research on Amazon as well as YouTube, so I pretty much knew what I was buying. However, I was completely surprised how easy it was to install, configure and get running. These guys produce some excellent products!

Works to seamlessly extend the wifi coverage. Setup is easy.

I installed 5 of these in November of 2023 along with a UniFi Dream Machine Pro. All have functioned very well on a network with 60 over devices.

Difficulty getting mesh to work. Otherwise, very good.

I bought this so that I could separate router functions from wifi functions due to the number of devices in my network, with the intent of speeding up overall network throughput by offoading ap functions to its own processor. Indeed, it did increase throughput across the board, wired and wireless, but the range is less than my previous consumer level router/wifi combo, meaning I'll be ordering another one of these to fill in the gap. The setup on it is also unnecessarily complicated for the average user, but it does have some corporate level capabilities that make it versatile. My advice is to mount is somehow. It is a long cylinder and is top heavy - It's easy to knock over, even with the slightest bump. In conclusion, it's a great access point for those needing extended routing functions or speed, but it lacks the range of similarly priced consumer wifi routers.Update: Returning due to a known issue where Unifi devices turn off their radios when they don't like something, and the only way to recover is a hard reset. I ran into this issue when I installed a competitors product in the same network.

I have had to replace this unit a couple of times. In addition, the power injector packaged with the unit did not power it up. I had to use the injector that came with the unit that stopped working.
