I have waited 3 weeks for delivery but I was aware of shipping times and they arrived within the allotted timeframe.I chose the black/black design but there are many colour choices available, one of which is sure to match/fit in with your decorI wouldn’t say they look like leather but they do have a lovely matte looking texture to them. Soft and flexible, they can be rolled, folded or stored flat. I choose to store flat. For ease of storage, they are only a couple of mm thick but they do have a soft and spongy heat-resistant inner layer which works surprisingly well.TIP: As they are not particularly thick, they can be placed under a tablecloth/fabric placemats, when dressing your table for a special occasion, in order to provide an unobtrusive layer of heat-resistance.Not COMPLETELY slip-resistant, they do provide a substantial amount of grip, preventing both mat and plate from flying across the table, and add a good amount of protection to your prized surfaces. A great size, each mat will easily take a large plate (I believe mine are a diameter of 28cms) and cutlery.They are a reasonably good weight..I was surprised just how heavy a pack of 6 mats felt but, in my opinion, this makes them feel of a superior quality.These are not machine washable but ARE easy to clean. Just a quick wipe and they’re good as new. I bought these to replace a set of heat-resistant woven mats but no matter how often, how hard and how long I scrubbed those predecessors with a brush, they never looked clean. In my opinion they were unhygienic and always looked dirty. Ease of cleaning makes this set of mats like a breath of fresh air.Conversely, I don’t agree with other reviews stating that they smell!!! On unpackaging I noticed no odour whatsoever.Despite the long shipping time (of which I was fully aware), I’m very glad that I waited. These are great quality, great value and I don’t have any qualms in recommending, so I hope that this review had helped with your decision in making a choice.

Large attractive good quality mats, good selection of colours, easy to clean and unlike other mats I've purchased in the past don't roll up at the edges. Good value for money too.

Probably larger than I expected, but good. Easily wiped clean. Not really suitable for special occasions, but excellent for everyday. They bend in half easily so storage is easy. I haven't tried putting anything very hot on them, but ordinary warmed plates etc are fine.
