What is the distance between center to center for the mounting slots?

What is the exact width of the gap between the jaws when the 3" vise is fully closed? Can it clamp something 3/16" thick?

Is this 4" model the same product with the same specifications as a Palmgren 12321? Please refrain from I don't knows, let someone answer that knows

can anyone tell me if the jaws are removable?? i have purchased this same cam action vise from a different brand, but can not remove the screws.
