My son loves to read even though he is only 2. Reading at his age may mean identifying familiar words and describing what he sees. This is the best book image and text wise. Helped him learn actions so easy.

I cannot explain enough how much I adore this follow up book to The Imitation Book!! It is so helpful in my work with parents who want to help support their children's language development because the author so wonderfully explains the best way to utilize the book depending on the child's age and developmental milestones. It has been a wonderful tool to get my foot in the door to include parents in conversations about being their young child's first and most important teacher. I also really appreciate the inclusive illustrations. I strongly recommend this book to parents, relatives, and professionals working with families- BUY A COPY FOR EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!!!

We purchased this book to support our child and it is wonderful. He loves this book and within a few days was using verbs to describe what others were doing. If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would.

I thought this would be a great book for our little one but it did not keep attention. I like it though and I am not taking off stars because of the 17 months age of our little one. It is very simple and will be perfect for teaching the present tense verbs. The whole book is a mix of he is …. Or she is…or they are…. I think there is one misprint that should say they because it is showing 2 people but it just says he. The author explains how to use the book and based on teaching many toddlers in the past, I think it is sound advice! (Action Book: Children's Board Book for Learning Verbs For Toddlers)

We love Action Book as much as we have loved the authors other book, Imitation Book! The author shares tips on how to best engage your child with the book. The pictures are fun and both my children enjoy reading the book. I have seen gains in language skills with these books! A must have for every baby/toddler/preschoolers library!

This was great for my daughter to start action phrases. Wish they had more!
