Q: does it come with a filter and straw?

There is no straw as you drink directly from the rubber top on the lid of the bottle. There is a cover that screw over the rubber you drink from for transporting and keeping it clean

Q: Is it supposed to spew water due to design? We bought 2--1 spews water when you first open it on a plane (okay, altitude), but the other one doesn't.

All I know is that mine spewed water all over me every.single.time I opened it on the plane (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th time etc) no matter what trick I tried. They say to blow back into the straw to prevent this but that doesn’t work. It evened spewed all over me when traveling over hills! Defeated the whole purpose of why I got it (for travel so I didn’t have to buy bottled water at the airport). But also not usable for even just regular, daily use due to the poor design. I hated it so much I left this expensive bottle at the last hotel I stayed at while traveling as I saw no no reason to bring it home.

Q: When i purchase the bottle does it comes with both filters ? Or are they separate?

As shown in the picture of the Life Straw Bottle there is a filter in place when you buy the bottle. Not sure what you mean by both filters. In my order the filter was already in place in the bottle.

Very useful, hanging hook would be better

Hanging carabiner should be there. The ones i m getting in market is small and has scratched the handle.Useful product. But the when you pull, the water quantity or flow is slow/less

Nice

Very useful when traveling. Found it little bit tough to drink from it. Also, diameter is large - does not fit in backpack water bottle pockets- falls off.

Bruised product and poor quality

The media could not be loaded. I requested replacement of the product life straw it was done promptly but the replacement was more bruised than the earlier one I am very disappointed they are selling substandard products some years back I purchased this product from some other source it was of very high quality I don’t know what to do with this

Have to suck the water with a lot of effort

Don't know about the quality of water get from it after filtration. But you have suck the water with lot of effort. Also the taste of water is sour..

had to suck and spit out

I had to suck and spit water out several times after buying to throw away the fresh 'plastic' taste. Sounds weird right? But that's literally exactly what I did to solve this initial problem. Works quite well now. Looks cool too.
