Solid design, well made - works well - Excellent Value
Took all of 3 minutes to set this up and start using it - the CD read speed is quite fast, more than acceptable at the price point it sells for. Easy to use, good quality materials and assembly.....comes with both an USB A and USB C connecting cable. It gets the job done reliably and quickly. I think it is a great value.

Attached short cable storage
*Very* thin. Works well. I used it to rip a bunch of audio CDs to a Mac, via iTunes (Music). Attached short cable storage is very handy, so you don't have to keep track of a removable cable.

Works as expected...not a fan of the cable.
I got this so I could rip some old CDs to my laptop (I miss when PCs had these built-in). It works fine for the intended purpose with little hassle, and it's even pretty aesthetic. My only complaint is the cable, which is short, kinda stiff, and is stored in the bottom of the drive case...I feel like it's going to be an issue for me sooner or later.

Exactly what I needed !
I do a lot of creating on my computer with special programs like PSP...I have an old program on a CD that I use constantly, but, my new laptop does not take CDs...A friend suggested I try one of these CD/DVD players... Well boy am I glad I did !...This product is a compact size and easy to set up...It was compatible with my Windows 11 and downloaded that old program in no time with no problem... This saved me a bunch of money too !! I would have had to buy a newer version of the sameprogram, that was receiving poor reviews, and cost well over $50.00 !!...I am very happy with my purchase, and elated to get back to creating on a much loved old program... Thank you !

Doesn’t work
Opened the box, plugged it in to my MacBook Air (Sonoma). Didn’t show up anywhere — not even disk utility. Don’t buy this cheap Chinese thing. Stick to the well-known brands. They’re well-known for a reason.

Plug and play at a great price
I’ve been wanting to access my CDs with old pictures on them for some time and our computer does not have a drive. I like the price on this and thought I’d give it a try. Plugged it in to my Mac and put in a CD and I was good to go. Been looking at old pictures all morning. Have not tried to burn anything yet but it was perfect to access my old files.
