I have reactions to other solid lip balms, I am not sure what is in them that causes it, given the long list of ingredients. I use Blue Lizard sunscreen so I thought I would give the lip balm a try, knowing I could pass it on if I reacted to it. Nothing has happened, and I am very happy! I have tried a lot of lip balms, even the ones labeled organic and all natural left my lips chapped and peeling. This did not - good stuff.

I discovered Blue Lizard Austrailain Sunscreen over a decade ago. Since then it has been my favorite and the most effective sunscreen I have ever used. It's my go to sunscreen especially for SCUBA diving trips where I'm spending a lot of time in and out of the water and in the sun or long hikes in the desert sun. So naturally I wanted to try their lip SPF. Ordered it recently so only used a couple of times so far and like it. Bought the lip protection because the active ingredients are mineral based zinc oxide and titanium dioxide just like the sunscreen. Also I trust this brand.

I love this because it really works!!! It goes on smooth, it does not get goopy, it stays on and it doesn’t taste awful!

No white cast. Easy to apply. Best coverage. Everything is great!

Overall a great moisturizing SPF lip balm that has a light natural coconut scent w/ no flavor. The only thing preventing me from giving this 5 stars is that it does give your lips a very slight white cast due to Zinc Oxide. The white cast is especially apparent if there is dry peely skin on the lips.

Great product. Must have to throw in my purse.
