It really works. Just back from holiday. I’m a mosquito magnet. At the first sign of a bite, set the temp to max, and apply. Stings at first, but effectively stops the itch and heals the bite really quickly. No red spots on my legs or arms. Great piece of kit.

This is a review of the Jesata Rechargeable Insect Bite Healer. We always take a heat pen like this on holiday, because it really does work to sooth and heal mosquito bites. The one we have, requires 2 X AA batteries, and always seems to run out just when we need it. This Jasata version is a huge improvement, being rechargeable (USB C), and half the price of our old one. The instructions that come with it are a bit rubbish, but basically you turn it on & off by pressing and holding the large button, then you short press the same button to cycle through the heat settings. Finally press the smaller button (with the flame symbol) to start the heat treatment. We have found that it is most effective when you use the highest setting and as soon as you notice the bite. Press it firmly against the bite for as long as possible (the full 30 seconds if you can bear it). Unlike our old pen, this one gently vibrates whilst heating and that does seem to help.

Didn’t work at all

Wasn't sure about this... but really did seem to work. On the top setting it is ***ing painful, but only for about 3 seconds. On the lower settings no pain just warm. But top setting really takes the maddening itch away.

This is a good bite and skin irritation healer as it reduces the amount of itchiness and therefore helps it heal up quicker.Its USB-C rechargeable and last for ages in between uses so you don’t have to keep charging it up all the time and one charge should last a two week holiday no problem (depending on how much you use it of course).Once you figure out the button controls its simple and easy to operate with 4 heat levels to choose from, most the time I just opted for 3 or 4 as I found the higher the level the quicker it eased the itchy area. It gives off a nice red glow from the end when on as well as audible beeps and with the small compact nature I found it to be well made and easy to travel with.Overall, for £14.96 I have found it has worked quite well around itchy areas and bites especially so I would say its good value for money.

This is a game changer if you suffer from bites swelling up. It stops the itch immediately and therefore reduces the swelling.My husband has always had a bad reaction to bites and the pen has prevented thisWould highly recommend
