I use this in many art projects. Love it.

Covers evenly - I put what I want coated on a slight slant
It provides about 85% even coverage. I use it for coating my original 2 1/2 X 2 1/2" square lapel buttons.

Don’t bother trying this
This top coating completely changed the piece that I tried it on. Fortunately it was an experimental piece. It seems to have kind of melted the paint, merging and clumping it. Also it distorted the colors radically.
