Contitech timing belt kit
This item is the correct kit for a VW Passat B7 365, 2012.The only downside is that the 3 bolts supplied for the water pump do not fit this vehicle. This is also the case with Gates timing belt kits. The bolts supplied are M8, however, the 2.0 TDI has M7 bolts. You have to either use the existing bolts or source them from your local VW dealer. Also, it is recommended to replace the 4 bolts that hold the auxiliary pulley on when changing the timing belt. Again, these are not in any kit and need to be sourced from your local VW dealer. On the whole, a decent kit.

Not convinced.
The tensioner pulley included is litens and also quide pulley is Ina but the kit is advertised as Continental timing kit of which is misleading . I therefore not sure the quality thereof.

Looks to be OE quality
Both the original OE VAG I removed and the new one were labelled contitech. Other parts looked to be of good quality too. Only thing to bear in mind is some other parts that are removed to replace this such as the engine mount are meant to have their Stretch bolts replaced too and these aren't part of the kit. I suspect this varies model by model. Mine was a Passat 2.0tdi.
