OtterBox Defender Series Case for iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) (2024) - Black, Rugged, Durable, Multi-Layer Protection

This case gives just the kind of protection you would expect from OtterBox. It adds rigidity, screen protection, and drop resistance without adding much weight, bulk, or area.It functions well as a stand and the Apple Pen holder is secure and effective.

Anyone can buy a product and expect it to perform, but what about protecting that investment? If you have an iPad Pro, protecting that investment is highly important and this Otter case is just what the doctor ordered. This one not only offers it that protection you seek, but also has a stand which holds it up and safely displays your iPad while you view it. This is a bit pricey to some, but the key to owning a high end tablet and keeping it protected is impirtantvto its owners. Having that protection with the convenience of having a stand which integrates with it makes it convenient and practical as well. This tablet is worth protecting and having a convenient stand that integrates with it just makes it more desirable. It is up to you. Mine is worthy of this option and so should yours!

The media could not be loaded. The case is decent but the sliding stand and pencil charging is horrible. The stand jams every time I try to use it, and done so since day one. Magnetic charger for the pencil cannot be used unless you take the backing plate of the case off. You can’t take pictures unless you take the back plate off either as it completely covers the camera.I cannot believe otter box even sells it, I thought there products were throughly tested before they just thrown to the market. If you need a case for your iPAD 13 don’t buy this one it’s not worth it.Since writing this review the slide portion has completely broken, the plastic tab have broken off and the cheap slide stand is no longer usable or functional. This is the absolute worst case I have ever seen from a decent company like otter box. I would not purchase it period. For the cost you may as well just wrap it in bubble wrap and pop-cycle sticks for the stand, that would work longer than this junk has.

This case really holds up, I did have one issue where a small plastic clip broke however I talked to support and they replaced it right away. Excellent Support!

This is a fantastic case for protecting your iPad. Just like other OtterBox products I don't have a worry about my product while it's in an OtterBox case. It's slim and attractive. BUT, if you like standing your iPad up to view this is not the case for you. It falls flat from the small base the case folds into CONSTANTLY. Would love for OtterBox to work on this problem.

Before I say anything negative I want to state that I really do love and appreciate the defender series otterbox offers. I’ve literally used it across a dozen devices year after year. I also have no read any other review as I’m pasting this.I got a different case for my iPad before I decided that I wanted to get my favorite case for it. I now see why the reviews are not as high as I expected them to be. The pen is hard to get out in either of the places allotted for it. On top of that, the one will actually separate the edge of the case some, putting stress on the clips that hold the hard shell together. I’m also just not a big fan of the back stand on the case either. Several times I had to really find the right surface for it. It’s also a defender case so it has added bulk and size as expected but it’s not a whole lot. I would use it again if I was using my iPad outside of car rides and down times.At the end of the day I switched back to my other case for now. I’m still a huge fan of the defender series but in this circumstance, others prevail.

I've trusted OtterBox Defenders to protect both my iPhones and my iPad Pro's for 8 years now. So far, dropping either when protected with my Defenders, has resulted in no damage to my iPhones or my iPad Pro's. So, OtterBox Defenders do the job I buy them to do. However, the last iPad Pro 13 (M4) Defender I bought several weeks ago on Amazon to protect my new iPad Pro was very difficult to use. It’s got a little kickstand that comes out to hold it up, but it didn't very work well, resulting in my raging frustration over and over trying to make that little kickstand either deploy or retract. This is a poor design. Finally, I took a fall where my iPad Pro crashed to the ground protected by the Defender. My iPad Pro survived but, the Defender did not, and that is to be expected. However, in this case, good riddance. I’ve ordered two more Defenders to replace it. Hopefully I’ll have better luck. UPDATE: The two replacement Defenders I just received do not suffer from the defects of my first one. Tada! Thank you, Otterbox!

The defender series is the greatest. I had a hard time finding this one. So happy I thought to look here. I drop my iPad occasionally and this case has kept it very safe. Highly recommended if children have an iPad!
