An excellent, comprehensive, well thought out analysis of Estate Planning.....
I was a little dubious when I saw the title, including the hyperbolic words: "The ONLY...Estate planning Book you'll need"., Further skeptical when the authors reveal that the Garrett Monroe is a pseudonym for a battery of experts.Well, lo and behold, this book comes through in a big way. You can tell that it was written with intelligence and forethought, as it approaches each facet of Estate Planning in a systematic and concise way. I was struck by how organized and easy to digest the material was. This is the first time I've been moved to write a review on Amazon, but I wanted to impart my enthusiasm after having finished the book. I highly recommend it, and you won't be disappointed.

A Good Estate Planning Tool
Garrett Monroe’s The Only Estate Planning Book You’ll Ever Need is a comprehensive and researched guide that demystifies the complexities of estate planning. It is an excellent tool to use if you are thinking about your legacy or want to refine an existing plan. This book provides a step-by-step approach to organizing assets, protecting loved ones, and understanding the nuances of legal documents like wills and trusts. It is a helpful guide to help address a subject often avoided.Monroe simplifies legal jargon into plain language, demystifying much of the complexity, especially for those without a legal background. He covers essential topics such as minimizing taxes, choosing the right executor, and avoiding common pitfalls that could cost a family's time and money. The practical advice on selecting the right lawyer can save readers thousands in legal fees and a lot of headaches.

Great book to summarize estate planning
Although I think this book is an EXCELLENT resource for understanding estate planning, I would not actually call this book the ONLY estate planning book you’ll ever need. Only because there is so much more to know about estate planning that is going to depend on your marital situation, if you have children, what assets you own, what state you live in, if you have businesses, etc. However, for a general reference on all things to do with Estate Planning, this is an excellent resource and I’ll be referring back to this book often as I am currently in the stages of planning my Will and Trusts.

Not the only estate planning book you will ever need
This is a decent estate planning 101 book.I would not say it is the only estate planning book you will ever need. It does not cover more advanced yet common topics like Dynasty trusts, intentionally defective trusts. Sales to IDGTs, GRATS, QTIPs, QPRTs, CRTs, etc.I was looking for a resource book to put some more advanced estate planning concepts in plain language to help clients understand them and validate that they are common recommendations. This book does not do that.
