Excellent content to fully support my studies as a Cambridge International AS / A Level Geography student and as a very keen young geographer in general. It contains thorough explanation in easy to understand terms, along with concise and useful info-graphics / diagrams to aid my learning (of which, I'm a visual learner generally). There are many pictures throughout, and a very nice aesthetic that gets out of the way of the content. Additionally there are thorough case studies for most parts of the course to support and add context to your learning.There are a couple of useful things to note though:- The typesetting leaves the text in the center of the book, with big white margins either side. I don't think this is much of a problem, as the content is excellent, however - it does make it harder to view text close to the spine, considering the book doesn't really fold out very well- The type is very small! So having good lighting / eyesight / concentration at your desk is a must, otherwise you can easily jump sentences and words while reading- There aren't any questions to test or extend your learning - however there is some content that goes in detail beyond the specification to extend your learning in the bookOverall, I think this book is ideal for an A Level student like me who is aiming to cover all the content in thorough detail, as well as those students who find info-graphics and pictures helpful while learning. It's best (being mainly content) if you have a teacher willing to help to extend your learning or provide you with examination tips / practice questions for this textbook.One last thing to note, the textbook reads very well and is quite captivating, unlike some other dryer, less exciting (in my opinion) texts available for this course.Good luck with your studies!

Poorly laid out. This would take an award for the worst typesetting seen in a textbook, with cramped hard to read and poorly reproduced text and then a wide margin where there is ... nothing. The content is thorough, worthy and unexciting.
