Patience is required, but these were perfect
The Yoto MYO cards are so expensive for me and my family. I found these cards were possible alternative on Reddit. So I ordered them not thinking much of it and to be honest at first I thought they didn’t work. However, I then learned that I was having problems following basic instructions and it was a user error not a card error. It does take some troubleshooting to get these to work and if you check in the reviews here and or on Reddit there are some clear instructions on how to set up these cards. Once you know how to do it it is so nice to only pay $.80 a card instead of three dollars a card. If you order these and it’s not working, I promise you it’s a user error do a little bit more research and keep at it because it can save you so much money if you our patient enough to figure it out. I personally am not very tech savvy, and that was my own issue. I was having issues navigating the third-party app I had to borrow, but I gave it to someone else who I taught them how to use it and they figured it out in two seconds. These cards are a little bit thinner so I worried about the durability and the texture was smoother so I did worry about how the stickers I print out would stick to them butso far everything has been fine and I’m excited to keep using these.

These NFC cards don’t work!
These don’t work, unfortunately. I’ve tried three NFC reading/writing apps, and zilch, nothing. None of my NFC devices detect them, iPhone doesn’t even recognize them. Huge bummer, because the product description is very misleading.

Yoto MYO Cards
This works very well as Yoto Cards. We found instructions on Reddit. Basically, "erase and format as NDEF" using an app called TagWriter. There's a pop up option. Select No. Once that is successful "copy a tag" using NFC Tools app. The source tag is the MYO welcome card that came with the Yoto player which you can link to any list in the Yoto app. So link each Playlist and copy th tag to one of these reformatted cards. Rinse and repeat. I made stickers for the cards on my mother in law's cricut et voila! Brand new yoto cards for a fraction of the price l! They aren't difficult to relink either, once you have your process down. Hope this helps! We bought this pack of cards a couple of years ago and just recently bought a second pack. All of them still work. Unfortunately, my kids lost a couple cards, but that's inevitable.

Working on Yoto with iPhone
Works nice on Yoto as a MYO Yoto Card with a few steps. Kind of flimsy and glossy compared to the official, but that's fine! Here are some steps to help people out if you're looking at other review (done on iPhone). You will need 1 official MYO Yoto card like the Welcome Card etc.1. Make the playlist you want on the Official Yoto app/website (make sure its not too large.. not sure the max but probably 300mb might be around the limit for a card?)2. Link the playlist to an OFFICIAL MYO Yoto Card.3. Put the card in your Yoto player, play briefly then hold power to "eject" while leaving Yoto ON and CHARGING to Download the playlist to the player (check status in app).4. Wait until it fully downloads.5. Use the "NFC Tagwriter by NXP" app to format the blank Yarongtech card like other review mention.6. Use another NFC read/write app (I found "NFC21 Tools") to read the previous Official Card (step 2) and then write it to the newly formatted blank card (step 5).7. Done! Yoto will play the playlist from the Yarontech blank card.8. Optional: Re-connect an old/another playlist to the official card which can be done simply through the official app.I believe if you make changes to the playlist after you will need to redo the steps.

works with Yoto mini, after finegling with two third-party apps
Got them to work with my yoto mini. The cards work just fine, but the apps that people recommend to reformat these as Yoto cards can be difficult from the user experience side. You need one app to reformat these cards and another to copy the file from an official Yoto MYO card onto these. There are a variety of instructions available online for this, some of the directions aren't very easy to follow though.

YES, they work!
UPDATE - You need to make sure the files you've added to your Yoto library have finished downloading to your Yoto player before you try to copy to these cards. Otherwise you'll get an error.Note, it might take a few minutes to finish downloading, or it might take 24 hours. Check back in your Yoto app for the download status.YES, THEY WORK WITH ANDROID!Excuse the bad photo, I just wanted to prove that these cards work if you use Helen's process (see previous reviews for the how-to process by Helen.) It's currently loaded with my kid's favorite version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
