Contoured neoprene strap wraps around the thumb CMC joint and the first metacarpal for direct CMC joint support. Great comfort and great stability!
This is a great product. I work with my hands and have been using support products for several years. My therapist recommended this product and they were spot on for cmc joint relief. This new splint is for my other hand. Surprisingly my hand remains cool and comfortable even in the summer. As for care of cleaning, use warm water and mild soap, rinse well and dry flat. DO NOT put splint in a heated dryer!

Comfortable
Brace is comfortable and stabilizes thumb to wrist joint well. Good for periods of low to mild activity. Might want rigid type brace that's washable for working activities.

High Quality and Good Support
I bought this for my mom when she is doing needlepoint. At 92, her arthritis makes activities using her hands difficult. The support she gets using this allows her to stitch as long as she wants and is adjustable with the straps. It is very comfortable to wear, and her hand does not get sweaty using it. This is the second one I have bought for her. The first one lasted quite a few years. The support she gets for the lowest joint in her thumb is remarkable.

Perfect for when my DQ is feeling better but still needs to be restricted a little. Have one for day to day use and a second for nighttime that’s clean.

THE FIRST PICTURE IS NOT WHAT YOU RECEIVE. FALSE ADVERTISING. what you receive is not the longer version for wrist injuries shown in the first picture only the small short one for thumb injuries. FALSE ADVERTISING.

Great brace but useless after less than 5 months
My doctor recommended this brace for the arthritis in my thumb which was hampering my guitar playing. I'm a working musician and this brace has been fantastic in giving support to my wrist while playing guitar, biking, and riding my bike. HOWEVER...it's been less than five months and the velcro has torn and worn down and essentially become useless. I'm hoping the manufacturer is reading this...did you design it to be replaced every 4.5 months with daily use or do you expect it to last longer...perhaps you'd like to replace it for me free???
