Tried this and very happy with its usefulness. It performed as expected

I am using this to set a large battery on to help it not slide and provide separation from the battery tray in my bus. The material is as thin as they advertise which is great, but be sure you peel the backing slowly or it will stretch. And for heaven's sake, make sure you put it down in the right spot first time. The adhesive is VERY STRONG and once it is down, that is it.

The foam itself is good quality, the adhesive backing comes off nicely and the adhesive is strong enough to hold, but easy enough to reposition on non-porous surfaces. However, whether I cut it with scissors, shears or an utilitiy knife, I still get ragged edges. If that's going to be a problem for you, get a harder, denser foam.

Easy to work with, nice and spongy, sticks very well.

Created a water tight barrier over the foam, easy to cut and work with, would definitely get it again

It works fot the purpose I had chosen which was for Insulating and sound damping.
