Plug and play on my 2018 GSA. Much more useful than the DIN plug.We will see as to longevity.

Installation issues
This was a real Pain in the A__ __ to install. Very tight working space. The plastic nut is very difficult to get threaded without cross threading.Looks good, works fine.

Product arrived with pre-stripped threads. Returned without incident.

Bummer deal
Product was to bulky on top to fit in my trunk connection. Not satisfied with product. I had to reorder from a dealer to get proper fit.

Works great on a 2014 R1200GSA
Quick plug and play replacement for the OEM power plug that looks like it's original. Phone charges faster than the battery is used when navigating. Have had a couple weeks with this, only in nice weather.I'd love to see a model that has one USB-C PD port and a USB-A port.

Unit appears good quality but hardware nut poor quality
The unit appears to be of good quality but I had to use the original securing nut as the one that came with it would not tighten down sufficiently (threads were not quality on the supplied metal nut). Using the original nut from the BMW factory unit worked as it should, but I pitched the crappy one that came with the unit. Let’s see if the unit lasts long, not sure what could go wrong, hopefully better than the securing nut supplied!
