I have been searching high and low for a natural (ALL natural and not MOSTLY natural) sunscreen that will keep my skin from getting burnt, looking like a mime/dead person/clown, moisturize vs dry out my skin more, not break me out, and is waterproof. This sunscreen checks all the boxes and then some.When you go down the 'natural' route...there are products that use some natural, mostly natural, and all natural ingredients. Those that do the all natural ingredients are few and far between. I have researched numerous...and I mean numerous sunscreens for one that is ALL NATURAL without titanium dioxide, a non nano zinc oxide content ABOVE 20%, waterproof and is tinted. The list is very short at that point...For those of you with normal to oily skin and who are used to chemical based sunscreens that absorb into the skin and leave a matte finish...this is not it. You will hate the feeling of this sunscreen 'sitting' on your face all day and not absorbing. If you also do not like the smell of cocoa butter you will dislike this too. I personally love the smell and it reminds me of hot cocoa.For the rest of us that prefer moisturizing sunscreens for our dry and sensitive skin...this is it guys! As long as you understand that this is not meant to 'sink into' your skin but instead act as a barrier to the UVA/UVB rays...you will be good. This lasts all day, through the hot and sweltering and humid Florida summer doing the watersports (because the sweat and humidity in the summer feel like they are water sports)! I do reapply mid day if I've really been pouring sweat to be safe but the beeswax does a good job of beading the sweat.As the name implies, it is a moisturizing cream so there is no need to apply a separate moisturizer. I apply this after a few serums in the morning and my face is happy all day. When I go to wash my face in the evening, it is nice and moisturized and not red or irritated. I have been using this a few weeks now and can happily report that I have not broken out at all. It has not irritated my face eczema or caused a rash/redness/pimples. I no longer have dry patches on my face when I wash off the sunscreen either so I am very happy at this dual purpose sunscreen that does all that it is supposed to do and then some.The proper amount for the face in sunscreen is 1/3 teaspoon or the size of a nickel. You should give yourself about 30 minutes to let it sink in before you head out or else it will have a little bit of a sheen to it--some like the dewy glow and some don't. It does absorb and not gleam as much after a little. There is no white cast and when you sweat, the tint is not running down your face and leaving white streaks. If you apply it only in the morning and are inside all day, by the evening, the sunscreen will have little to no sheen and you will just look like you have healthy skin.I love this sunscreen so much and all the benefits that each ingredient has for the skin that I bought another color. My skin matches great to the coconut tint but I also bought the bronze for those days when I want a little more color.

I have been on a mission to go plastic-free and skincare product-free for health and environmental reasons, but living in Arizona, sunscreen just goes with the territory. Sunscreen that offers both minimal chemicals and plastic-free packaging has been difficult to find, but this product is exactly what I'd been looking for. I can't speak to how this product holds up against extended periods of time or exercise in the sun, but for everyday use or a trip to the park it's perfect. I appreciate the light tint as sunscreen can leave a white residue. It's just enough to blend into your skin and gives a nice dewy glow. I think it looks better than makeup ever did and it doesn't come in plastic. Win-win!

I have very sensitive cystic acne skin that id warm light in skin color. I try to keep my products especially facial products as natural as possible. This doesn't irritate my skin, meets my ingredient standards, gives a nice light but natural tint.I purchased island color. Might try a darker tone next time but maybe not. Looks much darker in tin than how it does on. Sheer coverage will not cover blemishes or redness but gives nice light natural glow.Very moisturizing don't need moisturizer underneath but I live in high dry altitude so I use with moisturizer. Keeps face moist all day.Doesn't absorb into skin so caution with rubbing your face with anything, the coloring will come off.Will purchase again and keep this as a beauty product staple.

Comes quite small for price but works wonders for something all naturalistic!

I LOVE this product! Everything about it— the tint, the sun protection, the hydration, simplicity, packaging, and of course not least, the way it makes my skin look! I’ve gotten so many compliments since I started using it a few years ago, and they keep coming, even as I’m approaching 50. Highly recommend.

I live in a high desert, have Irish skin, do lots of outdoor activities, and in the past few years, my skin has gone from normal to very dry (I’m 50). I’ve been searching for a non-chemical sunblock that is effective, doesn’t have a white cast, and doesn’t irritate my eyes when I sweat. This product nailed it!I used a generous amount on my face this weekend while I built a fence. Sweated a lot and did not reapply. No burning whatsoever. Did not make my eyes sting. Love this stuff.The only negatives are that they don’t do a great job helping you figure out what color is best for what skin type. I use bronze when I want a little coverage and pearly sand when I just want a wee glow.It is very moisturizing. For me, this is great, but for those with more oily skin or who are concerned about an oily look, might want to consider a quick dusting of face powder or arrow root powder.

I had read a lot of reviews about this and it sounded pretty good. When it came, it was unsealed. The ingredients label was different. The pearly sand color is reddish orange, and barely tints anyways. I live in a very dry climate with dry skin and it is incredible greasy. You can’t layer makeup and it just makes my face look a bit red when I have light olive skin. The color looks NOTHING like the photo on Amazon. I’m returning it and going back to beauty by earth.
