Got this as I had a docking station with a dead HDMI port but a live DisplayPort. External monitor is now back in business.

It a cable you plug one end into the monitor and the other end (not the middle bit) into the pc and ta da like magic, it works what more do you want.It not rocket science.

Dreadful picture quality.
Dreadful picture quality; pixelation, fuzzy picture and poor colour quality. A better quality cable fixed the issues. I bought two cables and the issues were with both, so not a faulty product, just a poor quality product.

Worked perfectly
My desktop only has UHD Display Port connections & my touch screen monitor is HD standard HDMI. This cable worked perfectly. Highly recommended
