Awful
I put batteries in this and it seemed fine, went to check my daughters temperature and the thermometer was so hot it burned me. I had to remove the batteries (they were burning hot) and chuck the whole thing outside as it smelled of burning.

Doesn’t work
I bought this to check temps of grandkids, but it doesn’t work. Put batteries in, followed instruction and screen showed LoC. tried 2nd set of batteries with same result
