Tasty
Great European-style bread. Very convenient due to long shelf life. Love to eat these with butter and salted, sliced radishes. Also great with sandwich meat and cheese. Tasty and filling.

Healthy g-f, keto bread and reliable seller
Mestemacher is the most heart-healthy bread available. Additionally, it is also g-f and low sugar (9 grams fiber per slice and only 3 grams of sugar). Also, imo, it is delicious and satisfying, whether eaten plain or toasted. This seller has proven to be utterly reliable. It is key to me to get my six-loaf purchase every six weeks (there are 7 slices of bread per loaf) and in the last couple of years, the seller has never failed to deliver. I highly recommend both the product and the seller.

Great bread
The best bread EVER! Has a great consistency and flavor is just like I remember as a kid. Reminds me of the bread in Germany!

Expensive but good
Used to buy it in Aldi’s, but they don’t carry it anymore. Expensive but very good. One star off for the price

Great tasting pumpernickel
I love the taste and texture of this pumpernickel bread. These are thin slices. I use it primarily with cream cheese and chive. I bought a multi pack and have frozen them. I have already finished the first pack, defrosted the second one, and found that the bread consistency is still good after to defrosting. This is now my go to morning Bread.

Healthy and delicious!
This is my favorite bread. First of all, since it comes from Germany it is non-GMO with no chemical preservatives. It is very low in fat, with 3 grams of protein per slice and 9 grams of gut-healthy fiber! It comes from a traditional recipe that is the perfect combination of softness, chewiness and flavor. It is best when lightly toasted, for added sweetness and improved texture. Each sealed package is shelf stable and fits in my pantry instead of the freezer. I eat a slice or two every day.

Delicious taste
Because I'm gluten sensitive I've been looking for something with European origin that would have unadulterated ingredients. I think I found it in this bread. The secret is in adding a little butter and dropping it into a frying pan at low temperature. It's softens the bread and adds an additional flavor that I like. The nutty flavor is a treat. While it's not white bread, it's satisfying which has eliminated my craving for the softer breads. Additionally, it freezes well. So I bought a bundle and put everything in the freezer. It was about the same price as the grocery store shelf and the convenience outweighs a dollar here and there. More importantly, I found it a little difficult to find in the average grocery store, like Publix. Florida Publix does not have it while North Carolina Publix does. Go figure :-)
