Camera failed after 6 weeks operation outdoors, as a result of water ingress even though camera is sold with IP66 rating. Milky residue formed in the sim and micro sd card,located at base of camera, due to water ingress, danyetech (the seller) wanted me to send camera back at my own cost for diagnose, or take a 80% refund, even though product was not as described as sold with respect to ingress protection, IP66. The amounts to no warranty in my view.Best avoided, spend a bit extra on a reputable brand.

Like it. Works great already for nearly 4 months.Solar charger charge battery efficiency and monitoring is covered over night. Like SIM card option in camera. Would be great if add WiFi too. But it’s ok. It’s great for places where no access for WiFi. Signal mobile network is great.So for this price you get excellent product. Highly recommended

I can think of a Million Uses where this type of Security Camera could be useful and although I already have one that’s Wireless, I never realised they now did them which don’t rely on a WiFi connection? - It achieves these things by using a Solar Panel to charge its High Capacity 15,600mAh Rechargeable Battery that Powers it and Transmits the Picture/Sound to you via a 4G SIM Card, of which it comes with a 300MB Trial SIM so at least you can try it out before committing to a Pay As You Go, or Monthly Data Contract. I haven’t fully tested all the functions out of it yet, but I do know that it has: HD Resolution, 2-Way Audio, Motion Sensor, Dual Lenses, PTZ Technology (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) and is IP66 Waterproof - In fact, I can’t think of anything it’s Missing to be quite Honest! As mentioned at the start of my Review, there are many different uses you can use this Camera for, but personally I’ve purchased it for keeping an eye on my Shed/Greenhouse in my back garden where there’s no Power or WiFi Signal. The only slight Downside of these “No WiFi” Camera’s is the amount of SIM Data they can consume if operating 24/7, of which can easily exceed 60GB per/month! I’ve already looked into this a little and I can get a 100GB of Data with SMARTY for about £17 per/month, or Unlimited Data for £20 per/month? - Therefore, over 12 months this amount soon mounts up to Hundreds of Pounds! In concluding, I Love the Quality and Endless Scenarios this Camera could be useful for, but the Long-Term Running Costs of the SIM Data Plan you need to use it could be Expensive, depending on how much it is Used/Activated? - I guess the Question you’ll have to ask yourself is, what Running Costs are you prepared to Pay to Keep Your Property/Valuable’s Safe! Great quality , easy to set up and operate . Mine is in corner of horses field on a high wooden post , has withstood wind and rain - no issue with connectivity .Very very pleased will get more for stables in winter
