A wonderful product, a great talking point. Be sure you read the instructions, as there are limits to where this item can be placed.Good customer service.

Very disappointed, even with the light source close it didn’t work. So returned to Amazon. No problem with that.

The media could not be loaded. We bought this product 4 weeks ago. Since then we have tried it in every room in the house ( except bathroom). It worked for first day, then stopped, stuttered went into reverse and then rotated very slowly., then stopped. We have tried it in sunlight, LED lights, on tables, on window sills on shelves, in DisplayPort cabinet ( lighted) and found it didn’t alter. We tried paper clip and great it did the job, after 1 hour removed paper clip as per advice , 4 hours later the globe stopped, stuttered, reversed and then rotated slowly., then stopped. We have now left paper clip on top of the globe and it is working perfectly. Company has offered to look at it and see if there is a fault, BUT we have to send globe to Germany, at our expense, and hope it isn’t damaged in transit. We are keeping paper clip on top, and not sending it to Germany, but feel that it is not doing what it should ,and have spent £200 on something that is disappointing. Beware future purchasers, it is a lovely and innovative thing when it works properly.

The only downside of this wonderful globe is the stand (and maybe the price). Other stands are available and make it look a lot better. It's a real focal point of any room it's in. A thing of beauty long after the cost is forgotten.
