great product, easy to make minor depth adjustments.
I have several dragknives and this is by far the best. The offset is easily calculated and if you not quite cutting you can just tweak the depth screw and get great results. I have cut 0.007 to coroplast all in one pass. Previously I did these same materials in two passes. Great price too.

VERY WELL BUILT AND DESIGNED
It's cutting through 10mm corex like butter. The worm drive blade adjustment is an inspired bit of design. I'd buy another if I needed to but SST offers all the replacement parts through their website so I won't ever to do anything but rebuild it!

Great dragknife, great service
I purchased this dragknife in Sept. 2022 and here it is March 2023 and I am just getting around to using this. Part of the reason is that I was a bit intimidated to use it. Stupid me. I am using Vectric Pro with the dragknife toolpath gadget. The one thing that confused me was the setting for the blade offset. Not having any experience with this so I reached out to SST on a Sunday morning figuring that I would get a response early in the week. Well, in less than 3 hours I had my answer. GREAT customer service. Thought I would share the answer to blade offset:The offset is adjustable, so you will need to measure it in order to plug in the value to your drawknife software. Both the blade height and offset have a 1:1 ratio with each other, so in order to get the offset value you just need to measure the blade height (from blade tip, to the bottom face of the drag knife)

Great Tool Once You Figure it Out
Wanted a drag knife for the CNC I have to cut vinyl, gasket material, and some other fun stuff.Built very nice, easy to change out and adjust blade.Only gripe is, I spent hours in the weeds figuring why the offsets using Aspire's drag knife gadget would result in cuts landing into my design, with very bad shapes.Come to find out, it's better to just use a standard profile path without the extra loops to orient the knife. Wish it shipped with some better hints, and tips. I wish the webpage went into a little more detail. In the end you would be better suited to use a laser / cricut to cut certain materials.

Decent
Updated: Customer service reached out after contacting through Amazon, instead of website. They were extremely helpful on getting the bent shaft replaced. Extremely happy with the product and believe the previous email issue was an anomaly.Used in production of cutting felt for a few months. Noticed circles were not meeting from start to finish point. The 1/4” shaft bent slightly, probably needs to be 1/2”. Reached out to customer service close to 2 months ago and have not heard back.

We've owned a few, this is the best by far
After owning a few different brands of dragknife, the overriding issue to us is how well it stands up over time. Several have small offsets and details to hold the blade, after a while it gets tough to register and keep it all in place. Not with the SST brand. You can see it hits properly on all those details, such as holding the blade depth, not letting the blade slide, and controlling the offset. This is definitely the best one we have used.
