Purchased this for my father who was fed up with our BBQ and the associated mess and preparation involved, he wanted something easy to clean that also has a degree of portability with low maintenance, and this is perfect.You must take into account that this requires two 13 amp three pin UK plugs to use it.Initially, this looked like it was going to be a problem as you cannot run this hotplate from an extension lead as you will require two separate power sources, this was solved by ordering a couple of heavy-duty short garden extension cables from here on Amazon.This Hotplate is an absolute dream to use, easy to set up and with two Hotplates you can split the temperature so you can use one half for the actual cooking and the other side for keeping food hot or if you want to do a lot of cooking then you have the entire surface to use.The unit reaches the desired temperature exceptionally quickly, and although this is electric and not gas, the heat was easy and quick to regulate, no undercooked or burnt food.The unit is easy to clean and takes up less space than expected.We have had three BBQ's so far, and all have been excellent.If you can get around the issue of having to use two plugs, then this is something I would recommend.

Griddle top sticks to food even when using oil, extremely difficult to keep clean as the plate is rough and for food business isn't fit for purpose.
