A Great Cutting Tool...
As a craftsman who's been whittlin' and sawin' since the days when flannel wasn't a trend but a way of life, this multi blade hand saw has earned a permanent spot in my tool collection. This ain't your run-of-the-mill saw- it's a wood-slicing wonder. The interchangeable blades swap out easier than a pair of worn-out gloves, and each one cuts cleaner than a barber's shave. Whether I'm tackling drywall or fine joinery, this saw's got a blade for the job, and the anti-slip handle fits my grip better than my favorite leather gloves. This KATA saw doesn't just make cuts; it carves its name into the heart of every project with precision I've come to respect. It's the kind of tool that reminds me why I love being a craftsman. Every cut tells a story, and this saw's got plenty to tell.Five stars to KATA for a tool that's as reliable and no-nonsense as the craftsmen who wield it.

Nice handle
I want to be able to review this as a 5 star but...The handle is nice and well shaped and the blades are very sharp but the blades have been coated so heavily with some sort of protective treatment that has created a thickening at the end that will make the saw unusable until I can figure out how to take it off without ruining the blade. Apart from that quite nice and quite serviceable.

Decent handle, bad blades
The teeth on the flush cut blade are so long they don't engage with the very well. They actually skip over the wood. I guess the handle was worth the price but I bought this for the blades. I decided to return it.The return process has been the most difficult. The closest free return was 22 miles away. Normally the Staples right up the street is the choice. Now I've been waiting for close to 2 weeks for the credit.

For emergency cases
For this price one can hardly expect a high quality product, but that is not what it is intended for anyways. I don't do a lot of sawing but every once in a while I work on a little project that could benefit from a saw. That is the reason why I got this one and for that purpose it is great! Doesn't take up a lot of space and does the job just fine! The blades bend easily and the handle is pretty small so you can't use a lot of force, but again, for the "every-once-in-a-while" user like me, this is the perfect gadget!

A bit gimmicky
The kit comes with three blades. I ordered this because I was interested in the Japanese style blade, which is the first one I tested. The blade is very thin and extremely sharp (be very careful handling it). However, the blade is so thin it tends to flex a bit on the return stroke. I know you don't cut on the return (push) stroke with a Japanese blade, just the pull stroke. But you still have to return the blade to start another pull stroke. That is when the blade fought me a bit, and when I had to be extremely slow and cautious so the blade didn't jump out and bite my hand. I did finally work my way through a 1x3 board, but it was certainly not as fast or steady as my larger Japanese saw. The ads show the Japanese saw blade being used to flush cut dowels, but for me the teeth are way too aggressive for fine work like that I prefer more teeth per inch for a smoother stroke. The large teeth tended to snag too much. The other blades were a bit sturdier, but I really don't want to cut a board with a tiny hand saw. I would always reach for a larger saw for more control. The metal cutting blade is ok for cutting pvc or soft metal like copper tubing, but once again I have tubing cutters and reciprocating saws that do it much faster and better. Some people with very few tools may find this general purpose kit useful, but I seriously doubt this will be my go-to tool for any project based on the fact I have so many other tools that work better. Maybe the hobbyist will like it.

Nice kit but flimsy
Overall its a fine little 3 in 1 saw bit and works great to cut a hole in drywall but the blades are very flimsy. I mean this allows a lot of flex if you want to cut weird angles but hurts if you are trying to cut nice straight angles. Easy to swap out blades.

Works well for my needs
I use this set making terrain for my table top war gaming. Works super well cutting 1 inch styrofoam insulation. I used to use a hot wire, but that would give me a headache from the fumes. This works much better. Makes things much easier for me. All 3 blades work for what I need, so I'll just use one till it's dull and then switch. Very happy with this.
