Perfect peace of mind for our coop!
Such a relief to finally have a fan that works! I originally bought a completely solar fan (that looked identical to this, but different listing). It did not work. This one works! I went straight to electricity because I needed our coop to cool off fast in this heat wave we’ve been having! The fan power is pretty strong- at least strong enough to help clear out the humidity in the coop a good amount. I’d say, about as powerful as a clip on camping fan. Super easy to install. I can’t comment on the solar panel - but my guess is it works like the other one I had, which ran just as well, just not at night. So much more peace of mind knowing it’s pulling out that stale air all day and night long!

Misleading directions!
This item is cheap and directions on the listing tell you to drill an 8 inch hole but the directions in the packaging tell you to drill a 7 inch hole. Which now I have an oversized hole in my shed. Do not purchase this garbage.

Great unit, great price
Just what I was looking for to put in my 12x16 tuffshed. The direct drive circulates the air from sun up to sun down.

Solar exhaust fan
The media could not be loaded. Works as it should. I pulled the gable took a dremmil to it. Cut it all out made it fit nice and snug. Keeps the gas smell out off the shed. Only wish the on/off switch was longer. Update the motor has lost a nut and screw and is off balance causing it to hit the fan frame. I will have to fix it

It blows a lot of air and was not very expensive
This fan is just what I wanted for our chicken coop. Unfortunately the coop has too much shade from the trees for solar power, but fortunately this product came with a power converter so we are using electricity to power the motor.

Loud and vibrates..... your chickens won't like it.
I'd be ticked if I was a chicken in the coop that this fan got installed in. It's loud and vibrates, something is unbalanced. I installed it into a garden shed so I kept it. The description states there is a power adapter for non sunlight operation, it wasn't included in my package. I would not consider installing this in any structure with people like an attic or RV because of the noise and vibration. Installation was easy is about the only complimentary thing I can say.

Good product
Easy to install and works as described. The solar panel eliminates the hassle of wiring, timers, and thermostats. The more sunshine, the more output from the fan!
