I tried this for the first time today, the old microwave wax I used to buy isn't on the market anymore and I was looking for something more cost effective than Sally Hansen's stripless from Wal-Mart (since they charge the same price, but halved the quantity you get). This wax is a great deal, I only use it for my eyebrows, it ended up taking 4.5 minutes in the microwave before I could break through the surface with a spatula, but once I could I just gave it a good stir and used my smaller spatula to apply. It doesn't spread as thinly as the others I've used, but it seems to stay in place better and sets up a lot faster, I put it on then felt the tackiness and ripped it off thirty seconds later and it took all the hair that I put it on, every other wax I've always had to tweeze a few strays after, but this one even got the fine blonde ones, the skin is smooth and there was no residue for me to clean off! I'll buy it again, in about three years, when this tub is gone, please don't discontinue this one ever because it's now my new favorite!!

I love this stuff I don't have I don't have any problems whatsoever I use it to wax my face meaning beard and mustache as long as you follow the directions and heat it up in increments you shouldn't have a problem just make sure you follow the directions

But it does get like stringy and makes a mess. It’s very effective tho. You also will need to get more little wooden sticks but I think I just got those from the dollar store

By all means it works great, but I PERSONLY just happen to have extremely thick so even getting my face waxed professionally is difficult. I'd wager it works best on thinner to more standard thickness hair so there's less resistance when removing it. On top of that you really should let your hair grow out for a little bit so the wax has more to stick to.If you can do that, it should work perfectly, but I personally can't stand the unshaven look on myself even for the short week or so I'd have to wait to really get use out of this product (ik ik that part is entirely on me).Regardless, despite me being the worst circumstances to test this product under, where it worked it, worked really well, with less pain than you'd probably expect. Little more pain than ripping off a bandaid, especially if you do it quickly.Just be aware of your own hair type and length before using, and you should be good. 👍

Super easy to use. But first off I like the shipping speed. 3 days and it’s here in my living room. When heating it, I used 1 minute at a time to see how fast it will melt. To my surprise it only took less than 2 minutes but was hot! Had to let it cool and at the same time stir it to get all the wax to melt. Tried a small patch on my face and it works!! If you go fast, there’s no pain. Makes my face so smooth. I would recommend beginners that you should have someone else to help you with pulling the wax off. If you do it alone then you make take longer. Ordered 3 and this is the best wax I have ever tried. All others BLAH!

Worst experience of my life. Attempted to use on my head to avoid shaving it. Followed the directions to the letter. My wife, sister in law, mother in law and daughter got great fun out of the removal process, I on the other hand did not. Fought with it for what seemed like an eternity to get it off, right painful too. Worst part being after all was said and done, the wax was finally all off my head and the dust had settled,……….. I still had to shave my head. It selectively took hair and just pulled on the rest. Would not recommend at all. Stick to straight razors.

It smells funky when you heat it up, but it does a great job for pulling my ear hair out.

The media could not be loaded. Very cool, we dont have a microwave by choice. I had a fondue melting pot i place the container, placed the cap over it, not screwed and left it overnight. It was perfect, used it at night.Works great!
