It makes a Fantastic Latte!! Great design and easy to use

Became addicted to cappuccinos and espressos with a similar machine by Casabrews, and an accessory ESE pod basket. Decided to splurge and get a second ESE-capable machine for my workplace where break times must be kept short. This machine quickly turns an ESE pod into a tasty double Americano, or a single espresso. The Mattinata's included ESE filter basket works fine and cleans up easily. Using entirely default settings which surprisingly do not make a watery Americano. I have retired a K-cup coffee maker from my office in favor of this machine, since the Americanos using Cafe Borbon pods are great tasting, more environmentally friendly than any K-cup with lower effort, and economical.Particularly like how quickly this machine heats up from stone cold.

The media could not be loaded. At the moment I am very happy with this coffee maker. It has an attractive model and is functional. It comes with a lot of written information that is important, but at first you get overwhelmed because you think that cleaning it before the first use and its functions are complicated, but it is simple. After hours of searching, reading many reviews, especially the negative ones from countless coffee makers, I finally decided on this one and I hope I was right. I bought it as a replacement for a Mrs. Coffee espresso machine that I am very sad about not continuing to use, but the water from the plastic container starts to leak out as soon as it starts working and what it does is a disaster. In this Mattinata coffee maker, the first brew of ground and packaged coffee was very good. Yes, I must make the observation that brewed coffee does not actually make 1 or 2 cups, it makes a little less, but the advantage of pressing a button that programs what you want to serve yourself is formidable. Tomorrow I will try, after making 2 cups, to make another one with the same powder to see how it turns out because although the 2 cups were a little short, it made a strong coffee, with a very good flavor with a spectacular foam. I will update my review in a few days to share my experience with this nice coffee maker.Update 03/29/24I don't understand why the cups of coffee that it should make don't come out, in both options it makes less, the foam must be above the measurement since it doesn't turn into coffee.For this reason I will remove a star.I will look for help to find out if it is a defect in my machine or if it works, which would be disappointing. I did the 2 cup option twice and only got 3.I will update my review if I get help and solve this mystery 😔

The steamer knob will not seal so I can't turn off the steam water. It won't fully pressurize. I have had the unit about a year and have only used distilled water. It should have lasted at least another year.

Loved this espresso machine- until it stopped working after 11 months of use. It made great espresso/lattes, compact and easy to use. I’m waiting to hear back from the manufacturer to see if there is a remedy. Easily close to 5 star review, until it stops working. The manufacturer quickly contacted me and took care of the issue. We are SO happy to have a working machine again!

When thus expression machine works the coffee is great! But, the filter basket will clog without warning every week or so zbd since I only make one cup a day I get about 7 to 10 uses out of it before I have to dump out coffee grinds into trash can and boil the coffee filter , per the instructions in manual, to clear out the tiny minute specs of coffee grounds. But, now, even with boiling the coffee filter, coffee won’t come thru. I am hoping I can get a replace filter for this machine ….i emailed them and maybe I’ll hear back..🤞🤞🤞🤞

Dead on arrival. It does look nice, but I don’t like products when they fail to work right out of the box.

Seems to do everything I could want. Includes the holder for ESE pods and two for regular ground espresso. Nice that you can change the automatic programming, I get an americano perfectly sized to my mug.My only complaint could be, while it froths milk great, it seems slow to heat the milk after frothing. Guessing maybe it doesnt shoot a very high volume of steam. I may be biased as the only other machine I've used was a professional setup.
