Fit great. Must adjust pressure valve -easy
Perfect fit for 2020 ish Troy Built 2800psi 2.3gpm unit with Briggs and stratton 8.75.Before installing the new head, apply a little grease to the 3 black rubber holes. That will allow the new one to slide on without damage. KY or astroglide will work great if you don't have silicone grease/wheel bearing/general purpose, ect.The ends where the hose and wand attach had extention blocks for my Troy Built and will need to be removed from the old head and added to this new head. This allows the end connections to stick out of the front of the unit futher. You dont have to do this, but it will make the connections easier to access. The hose inlet has some lock tight and is very difficult to remove. You should remove the head from the old unit. Put old in vice and then install extension blocks on the new before you put it on the power washer. Its much easier to remove/install OFF the unit.Adjustment of release valve is a must. NOoOOo this isn't broken. You're brain is lazy and broken. You didn't READ.It specifically says you will need to adjust the pressure release valve. Grab a 10mm wrench for the nut (shinny silver one). It must be loosened first. Then use a 3mm Allen to turn out the set screw if your unit it turning off.You can turn in the set screw about 3 full turns from all the way out and it will be a close adjustment.Good luck!! 👍

Works
Worked as needed. The hard part is finding compatibility chart. There should also be provided adjustment procedure. However, procedure by another reviewer worked great.

Not A Great Replacement for my Generac G0071320
Lube up the 3 rubber washers before installing on the pump head!!! I didn't and had to reuse 2 of the 3 old ones because they got damaged when testing it after first installing it.There were numerous replacements available and this one seemed to most closely represent what I needed. Works as it should. Had to removed the soap feed nipple as the spring & ball behind it weren't installed correctly from the factory. Considering the work to remove and replace the pump, that was no big deal at all.06/13/2025 Update: Finally used it about a month ago. The soap feed pumps water out, causing water to overflow and spew out of the soap container. Unless you cap the connection, the pump is constantly having to build pressure back up every 5-8 seconds if you're not using the wand.

Exact Replacement
Absolute perfect fit. My pressure washer broke while my husband was out of town, and I needed it. So I got this and replaced it myself. It was an exact replacement and went on in about 10 minutes. It also included the washers, which wasn't clear in the description. I purchased washers separately which I'll just keep as a backup.

5 stars for the fit……down to 3 stares because the unloader valve needed tuned!!!
OK, I read ALL the reviews about this product before buying so I knew there maybe issues with the unloader valve.First things first, I have a 2008 Troy bilt 2800 PSI 2.3 GPM pressure washer. This new pump fits perfectly. It mates right up without issue where the old pump was taken off. 5 stars for the fitment. The unloader valve…. Once the pump arrived I installed it and started the pressure washer, only to find the exact same issues as all the other reviews. I had to hold the pressure washer wand trigger down or the motor would shut off. I tried this several times to ensure this was the issue. I scoured the internet in search of ways to adjust/ tune the unloader valve, but nothing was very helpful. After tinkering with it I figured out the only thing that needed done was an adjustment of the set crew (Allen head screw W/ locknut) on the outer part of the unloader valve. (2nd picture)STEP 1: I loosened the locking nut on the Allen head set screw, then turned the set screw until it was almost completely removed, then tightened the lock nut. (This should fix the issue of the motor shutting off without the wand trigger being held down)STEP 2: start the pressure washer.STEP 3: with the pressure washer started, loosen the locking nut on the Allen head set screw and slowly start tightening the set screw. ( I turned the Allen head set screw 1 full revolution before moving to the next step)STEP 4: with the pressure washer still on grab the wand and depress the trigger. ( the PRESSURE ON THE WAND NOZZLE WILL BE LOW, but the issue of the motor turning off when letting go of the trigger should be fixed) Let go of the trigger and the pressure washer motor should stay on.STEP 5: REPEAT step 3 and 4 until you reach your desired pressure without the motor turning off.STEP 6: tighten the locking nut on the Allen head set screw.Hopefully this process will help for you. It worked for me.

This was a better deal than trying to rebuild the old pump. Very easy to install and works great.
