Updated from a 2-star review: Good headphones, Great Customer Service!
Update:After speaking with customer service, they made things right. I have a new headset coming my way and I am sure the battery will live up to the advertised claims. I am hard on companies that sell products and don't stand behind them or the product doesn't perform as advertised. This is not one of those instances. This company definitely stood behind their product! I originally rated 2 stars due to my headset and the battery life (I think I just got a bad battery or something). With the communication provided by their customer service team and the determination to make it right, I am raising my rating to 5 stars. This is not 5 stars for the product itself. I would rate these headphones at a solid 4, but the fact that customer service cares about their customers, they have my loyalty for life.Bluetooth mode update: I originally had these in Dongle mode, not Bluetooth. The Bluetooth mode worked great but I did notice my mute button did not work in Bluetooth mode. Again, I may have just got a headphone set that was destined to fail. Hopefully my new set will work flawlessly. Based on other reviewers, I feel good about it.Original:Everything about this headset is good, not great, but good except the battery life. This thing dies fast! Maybe I got a faulty battery or something, but there is no way this thing lasts 40 hours with the light effect turned off, much less the 100 hours they advertise. I could charge it every day, or every other day, but I shouldn't have to. This should last a minimum of 4.5 days of use based on the manufacture's specs.I purchased this to use as my headset for work. I run a call center and use the headset and mic for 8.5 hours a day. I turn it on at 8am and turn it off at 4:30pm. (I usually turn the headset off for my 30-minute lunch.) I make sure the light effect is turned off to conserve power as I didn't really need this anyway. The battery only lasts about 3.5 days. That is only 29ish give or take hours of run time before the headset says, "Battery Low". Maybe the seller will send me a new one without a bad battery, but for now, the 2-star rating stands as I can't make it through the whole week using this set.The microphone is nice and clear with no echo. This was a huge thing for me since I am on calls all day. The only downside to the microphone is there is no noise canceling. The microphone will pick up every noise in your room. I have a foot massager at my desk, and I am told it sounds like I am in a machine factory when I have it on during a call. The audio is clear and sounds great for my calls. When listening to music, I would give it a 6.5 on a scale of 10. The volume is a bit limited. I feel like for what these are, they could be louder. The sound is crisp and does not distort, even when turned all the way up. I find the bass to be lacking though. You can hear it, but it should be much deeper considering they call this product 7.1 surround sound headphones. I would be slightly disappointed in the bass quality if I purchased these for FPS games. I do feel like you may be able to hear the enemy directionally with these though, given they claim 7.1.I have no doubt this would work just fine for gaming, but that is not what I purchased it for.Comfort level is obviously a big deal when you wear these for extended periods of time. The cushion on the top of the headset that rests on your head could be better if filled with some type of gel. There is a bit of foam, but after a few hours, it starts to hurt and I have to adjust it and move it to a new spot on my head. The earmuffs are absolutely awesome though! I can't even tell they are on. They do not block out any outside noise though, so don't expect a quiet experience if you have background noise in the room. It muffles it, but only due to covering your ears. The Bluetooth works great for what I need! I needed to be able to get up from my desk and walk around it without being attached with a short cord. It does not work at far ranges though. I tried to walk into my kitchen and the audio and mic cut out at about 10-15 feet. I does not disconnect until I reach my bedroom which is about 50-70 feet but then reconnects when I get closer to the computer. Again, there is no audio after about 10-15 feet though, so I'm not sure what the use of it being connect further away is.One last thing to mention is these are BIG! I mean that in the sense of the earmuffs are really quite large and heavy. That probably leads to the discomfort after extended periods or use.I will update this rating if the manufacturer issues a new headset with a better battery life as that is the whole reason I rated this 2-stars. It is very frustrating to purchase something and it not work for the specific purpose you needed. In my case a battery that would last all week.

These Headphones + money > Turtle Beaches + money
I LOVE THESE HEADPHONES!It syncs up easily with USB C or USB plugged into the computer. It also comes with an AUX cable to listen to the sound and communicate the old fashioned way as well.I LOVE these headphones as I am a gamer and use them at work meetings. It is VERY surreal to use these while playing apex legends. I can hear the footsteps of other players in the game so well - that I can point out exactly WHERE the users are, left or right, or more behind me.The mic part is great and it picks up great sound. You can either pull out the microphone or keep it in. If you keep in the microphone, it will be muted (or you can click on the mute button that pushes in/out).But I would say - don't get turtle beach gaming headsets... get these instead. Half the price, more comfortable, and did I mention... they are RECHARGEABLE?! It charges via USB-C.The battery life has been great! It works well and the size of these headphones are a one size fits all. No issues at all.

WOW!... VERY NICE! for the price... just bought a second pair to maybe gift, but... :)
... i might keep them as the phones to use when 2nd pair is charging... so decadent?... NOT for this price LoL:)For home PC movies, youtube, games, have bought several "low budget" phones lately (between $25 and $50) mostly junk, but some good ones, looking for "something special"... was i surprised by Valorise! ... the great value i'm getting for outstanding 'wear-for-hours' comfort with full, rich sound performance. I'm getting that Home theatre-like_sound feel in these headphones! Crazy bass perfomance coupled with very clear mids and highs. And that's without any EQ!7.1 ?... well, read one review where the user contacted the company, they stated (logically) that it is "Virtual 7.1", since i know for a fact "true 7.1" headphones contain multiple speakers/drivers cost $200+ with some at the very high end costing almost $1000. Plus "most" true 7.1 are wired to match high-end fidelity / what your paying $big$ for).So i wasn't expecting super accurate channel seperation but, i went and tested them using several 7.1 sound-scape [and other surround effects] variables on youtube. Even with my somewhat diminished hearing caused by youthful indescretion, i can make out "Virtual 7.1" directionals {even though it's somewhat sudtle compared to the real thing}Bass is FAT (do we say that anymore) strong all the way down to about 35-40hz where it drops off steeply in intensity but is still audible as the specs claim "20hz"... and highs?, well like i said "youthful indescretion", my hearing of highs starts giving up [diminishing] at around 12,000 but, i can tell there is forcefull sound above that, i can feel it interacting with my inner ear-bones, a sensation.Ok then... Cool red-anodized accent ring, adjustable pattern Red LED bling in a ring around each cup-end and don't foget retractable Mic too and even the the 2.4ghz dongle is special, has it's large green LED tip PLUS a low profile detachable 2.4 USB-C that would fit nicely on the side of a laptop or phone ... what's not to like about all that!If you visit their store page, no wonder all the different colors [besides red] are "currently unavailable", they must have sold-out after, i suspect, once the word spread.P.s. NOT taking a star away for this... My only complaint is, seems like alot of modern over-ear enclosed headphones have to small of earpad openings... or , let me re-phrase that... my Dumbo-ears (mainly ear-lobe) are to big for "most" over-ear headphones (except an old pair of Logitec-G930's i have, LoL). So just like with ear-buds, i wish manufacturers would send a second pair of ear pads with headphones, that have a bigger opening. I mean, i can tell on these [others] there is room under the lip of the current pads to be able to make a bigger opening to except my whole ear inside, without having to tuck in earlobe. THere still comfortable with ear-lobe under edge of pad but after a few hours, when i take them off, a little twingy.THank for the great headphones !
