This was an M-VAVE Mini Universe at half the price. The power connection was a bit sensitive and didn’t work initially, but is ok now. There is not much popping sound from the switch after the first power on. I only play at home and it’s not an issue.What I didn’t like was the uni-vibe type modulation that I heard in the reverb tail, but that may be OK for others.Update: I added this after my Zoom G3N and it really added to the ambient sound’s depth, even giving a subtle Chorale effect to my ears.I have just bought a second one to experiment with, although it was a bit more “expensive” this time at £29 and not £22.I might try the new Eternal delay, which they say is “similar” to the Timeline.

Love the sounds: modulated reverbs with long tails, lots of space, perfect for ambient or psychedelic. BUT it has a heavy current draw so whines on a 9V daisy chain. Use a separate dedicated power supply to fix that. And the switch click is loud.

Some excellent soundscapes- pretty noise freeUsed with a infinite sustainer this can produce some excellent pads to solo over . It can be used as a normal reverb also. One of the better pedals for £30 -£35This pedal is rebranded under many names and colours so look out for the Mwave branded one.

When i get a good sound out of this pedal, i really do believe that it punches above it's weight in this price range. But it just takes a little patience to get those quality sounds sometimes.
