Quick & Easy Daily Cleaning
If you love threading or sewing, you might find this process a breeze! But even if you don’t consider yourself a sewing expert, don’t worry—it just takes a few tries to master it. With a dash of patience, you'll be able to clean your hearing aids like a pro in no time. From my experience, investing in well-maintained hearing aids is absolutely worth it! Keeping those tubes clean can significantly extend their lifespan and prevent them from hardening prematurely. Plus, I can assure you that those threads are surprisingly robust. While it’s recommended to use a fresh thread every day for hygiene, I’ve found they still perform well even if you skip a day here and there. That said, for the sake of cleanliness, I still strongly encourage using a new thread daily. It’s a small step that makes a big difference!

I can hear clearly now, the pain is gone...
Well, I don't actually, usually at least, have pain. But not hearing well is definitely a pain. But, more to the point, I do have full molds for my Beltone Imagine hearing aids. They not only have a place for the receiver (the thing which brings the sound to my ear) but a vent, so that all that pressure moving my eardrum can allow the air movement needed to make it efficient.Every ear produces wax, more or less, depending on the way your ears feel at any given moment. The nature of the wax is to, eventually, clog both the hole leading to my receiver, as well as the vent.Enter (literally) these tiny pipe-cleaner equivalents, except they're much smaller and more flexible. The basic part is equivalent to a very heavy fishing lure leader - a piece of plastic wire. On it is a slightly large diameter of fuzzy stuff. It's a piece of cake to run the 'leader' through the vent or the receiver (you have to remove the receiver - that thing bringing the sound to your ear!) tubes/holes, and merely pull it through. I like to go both ways a couple of times, to make sure that any debris is removed rather than merely relocated. These will also work with air tube molds (all the sound comes from the instrument behind the ear), though, given the larger diameter, it may take a few more passes to fully clean the air tube (the ear mold will be the same in general as to the size of the audio hole and vent). For myself, I do my molds once a week, when I'm refilling my medicine bins (a long bin with 14 lids, one each day, morning and night) on Saturday night. You might feel you need more or fewer cleanings, but something which is an event which occurs only infrequently, but regularly, will make it easier for you to remember ☺

Very Useful Device
This is a great "tool" for cleaning my hearing aids. Mine have an extra receiver with a very small hole to allow sound through. These are great fro cleaning that tiny hole.
