Quite sweet due to the addition of lots of sugar rocks (sakar)
This tube of 160g mouth freshener or suwadana contains a mixture of fennel seeds, coloured fennel seeds and mini sugar rocks (sakar). The addition of the sugar rocks is somewhat unusual and there are lots of them included in the mix, which makes it a lot more sweeter than what I am used to. The fennel tastes fresh and crunchy and the mix provides a nice freshness to your mouth. I tend to remove the sugar rocks and set them aside to balance the flavour better. The colourful mouth freshener mix comes in a resealable bottle to ensure freshness.

A little bit sweet
Nice portable tin of plain mix saunf (flavoured fennel). Its a perfect accompaniment for after dinner as a mouth freshener. Fennel, coloured fennel and petite sugar candy, this mix is colourful. It tastes good. A bit on the sweet side with a lot of sugar candy. Despite this, the fennel seeds are crunchy and tasty. They've used artificial flavourings so that's good to know. It's on the label but yellow writing on green background is difficult to read. The can is sealed with a ring pull top to keep the freshness in.
