Works
Have just played around with it so far. All three bands are received and it seems like a good value. I was looking for a radio I could solar charge if power goes out.

Radio Test
Very portable and easy to carry in the pocket. Picks up lots of stations on FM and AM. Because the antenna is on the short side picking up SW is very difficult but then again I'm in the city. Maybe on the outskirts of the city might be better. Perhaps using a external antenna could improve the reception. Other than problems on SW. It seems built well in my opinion. The telescopic antenna should be longer would help allot.

Updated Review....
I loved it at first. Came partially pre-charged. Listened for about 2 hrs all together. Then it died. No big deal. So I went to charge it. Plugged it up with the charger that came with it but the charging light indicator never came on. But I decided to leave it charged anyways. Was on charge for 4 hrs before I went to use it again. And it wouldn't come on. Figured it was defected and the rechargeable part just didn't work. So waited a few days before I was able to get a AA battery to replace the green rechargeable battery. Put it in, and it still won't turn on. So it was good while it lasted. 2 hours tops. Was really looking forward to this and using it at work. I guess I got a defect item. So I'm returning it for a replacement. Let's hope the second one works without problems.*** Update: Received my replacement. Now it's perfect!! No complaints whatsoever!!!!

Cheap, nasty, and dangerous
Tearing open the radio to review the circuitry reveals that the way that the lithium battery is charged is via a single diode and resistor. No proper lithium charging chip which ensures that the charge ends when it reaches the maximum voltage. Instead the manufacturer opted to rely on a single DW01 lithium protection chip which was not intended to be used as part of the charging circuitry. This means that there no proper charge monitoring and only a single line of safety against damaging the lithium cell. This in of itself is already dangerous until you also realize the manufacturer allowed users to be able to take out the cell as well. The cell itself has no markings that indicate its a lithium cell, what size it is, or its capacity making replacement impossible. And neither does the battery compartment. Which means someone who doesn’t understand battery technology may accidentally insert a AA battery and try to charge it not knowing that it will explode because the device is meant to only accept lithium cells.Dangerous product. Do not charge unattended.

Good purchase
I bought this for my mom who has dementia, she listens to it all the time. She has a hard time working a regular stereo, and this one was easy enough for her to figure out.
