Common criticisms addressed…
I won’t waste time here talking too much about how this thing cooks; I’ve found that this appliance performs exactly how you’d expect a high-end air fryer to perform which is very well. Not too noisy, efficient, good amount of space in the drawers, and the non-stick (a good quality PFOA-free, BPA- free Teflon coating) appears to work well. What I am going to do is address a few of the common criticisms of this machine I’ve seen knocking around:#1. The ‘De-Syncing’ IssueThis is the problem some users have identified when using the ‘Sync Cook’ feature, wherein the individual drawer timers were going out of sync when one drawer is pulled out in order to shake or turn the contents.I was delighted with myself for coming up with a low-effort workaround immediately after unboxing the device; I reasoned that if you simply pressed Start/Pause to pause the cook before taking a drawer out to shake it, then pressing Start/Pause again to resume after replacing the drawer, the de-syncing issue would be solved.I quickly realised my thunder had been stolen: the issue appears to have been solved by a software update, at least in the version I have. Now, when you shake a drawer and replace it, the time for that drawer immediately replicates the time remaining on the drawer that was left in the machine. Didn’t even need my workaround.#2. The ‘Are you kidding, I have to press a button to remove the preheat function and the shake alarm every dang time?’ issue? This is a non-issue. And no, not just because it’s actually quite a small inconvenience that shouldn’t really bother you (as a person who is generally bothered by small inconveniences, I could never subscribe to that viewpoint). The reason is because there is an easy solution, and it is as follows:A. Press your preset of choice, (e.g. ‘Air Fry’).B. Press the corresponding button to turn off the function you don’t want to be active (preheat, shake alarm, or both if you’re really into raw-dogging your cooking).C . Hold down the preset button you are using (in this example, ‘Air Fry’) for three seconds. This will store your settings so that next time you turn the thing on it’ll be set up to be exactly how you want it.(You know how I managed to come up with this revolutionary solution? The sticker on the top of the machine. Yep. Sometimes reading is your friend.)#3. The ‘There's no way to just turn one drawer off mid-cook, so I have to turn the entire thing off and mess up my Potato Smilies or whatever’ Conundrum.Pretty simple one to sort:Just hold down the number of the drawer you want turning off for 3 seconds, and it will power down. That’s another ‘RTFM’ special.#4. The drawers are a bit stiff. They’re not. They’re fine.No solution needed. So anyway, if you like the look of this thing and want an air fryer with pretty simple controls, decent build quality and excellent cooking results, maybe go for this one. Here's just about the best recommendation I can give: I don’t regret buying it, and I'm the poster child for buyers remorse.

Corsori the cheaper alternative to ninja
I have previously used the single-tray Corsori air fryer, for more than a year, without a single issue with it (Unlike the more expensive tefal one I gifted to my mother, which broke within months of use).It is easy to clean, has all the functions one would need and was overall perfect for the start of the air fryer journey (Now with my mom as hers has failed). I have also reduced bills by not using the oven as much. Now, I have been eyeing up a dual fryer due to running into an issue when wanting to make i.e fish and chips for 2 or more people. Or any meal which required 2 separate temperatures and length of time. And I was so glad Corsori had an option. I love the translucent window with lights as well. It's a nifty addition. I have used it only once but it reheated some Indian snacks perfectly.Hopefully, this one lasts me as long if not more. For anyone getting an air fryer, I recommend the Corsori brand. They are affordable and they pay for themselves by reducing your electric/gas bills. They make food crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and are a healthier option than a deep fryer. Also, kids above a certain age can use those to easily reheat or cook their food too, without getting soggy like in the microwave.

Powerful, smart and fast air fryer
Really impressed with this air fryer!I'd previously had a costco brand air fryer (gourmia) and it was simply awful and broke within a month! After that nightmare, I decided to purchase this unit and I was immediately impressed. The unit is a good, compact size, with it not being any wider than the basket itself. It looks smart and modern, with a minimalist and simple control panel. The unit cooks food perfectly, and I think the dual elements go a long way to achieve this. It seems a gimmic, but from my experience it does make a difference. The different modes allow you to control the balance of heat that comes from the top and bottom elements, which allows food to be cooked correctly.(eg, using bake function for things like a baked potato, broil for cheese on toast and air fry for chips etc)The unit also comes with functions for commonly cooked foods, such as chicken and fries. In my experience, these work well too!My only gripe (and this is true of all air fryers, not just this one) is the cleaning. The basket and crisp tray do get very dirty (depending on what you're cooking, of course) which means they require cleaning after almost every use. A positive of this unit, is that it is at least easy to access the areas that need cleaning. The tray can be removed and the basket does clean quite easily, so that is a saving grace of this unit. The smart features of this air fryer are cool in concept, but day to day, I almost never use them. Others might have a different opinion, but I personally think that the cooking performance and style of this unit, is it's main selling point, not the smart features.Overall, I would recomment this unit to anyone in the market for a really good, multi-use air fryer. It's very economical, stylish to look at, and cooks food perfectly. I'm really impressed!
