Everyone should have one of these.
Great little radio. I use it mainly for tunes while im out working on my cabin. Can play music for a really long time. Hand crank and solar charge work great. Really like that it has a weather radio function, nice to have with all the storms we have here. The included charger cord wont work with my phone, maybe the otterbox case i have on it. No big deal, i have other cords. I do wish i could listen to music while it charges my phone, but no big deal there either. Flash light is nice and bright. I dunno how accurate the compass is, but I dont need that for what im using it.for anyway.

This is the one you’ve been looking for
I LOVE this radio. I had purchased a no brand hand crank/solar/wall chargeable radio before and it lasted maybe a month and then would no longer charge or turn on. This one however holds a charge for months! It’s rechargeable by solar, hand crank or by plugging in the wall. It’s heavy duty and has a great signal without even expending the antenna. The carry case is also heavy duty and perfect size. The radio is easy to use and has a compass & flashlight on top. Well worth the price and built to last so that it actually works when you need it!

Bug out bag radio. Fun to play with. Very suprised.
This is actually very cool! I'm a radio nut and have bought many higher end radios. I can literally hop down the road to C. Crane in Fortuna, and play with their radios. I bought their original emergency radio. But after 30 years, the dial gave out. It was the best at the time. But these days, radios are far and above. But this radio! This really suprised me! The controls were kinda wonky with my fat fingers, but once I got the feeling, this was actually a really nice radio. The speaker was the first shocker. The dial was the second shacker. The reception was the third shocker. This is a rechargeable radio that beats all that I've ever tried. Just put some foil on the end of the antenna and you'll have twice the reception. If you want more, C Crane sells a retractable long wire. Or just get some wire. This radio is perfect for a bug out bag, or just simply playing with. Todderbert on youtube demos an exact copy of this (this may be the copy), and the radio is precisely the same. The only difference is the branding. All functions are the same. I probably can't link a YouTube video but if you search "todderbert emergency radio review" and scroll, you'll find an excellent review. He covers EVERYTHING!This is a great radio if you have frequent power outages. The LED light lasts 18 hours. The radio is like 12. Much longer if you don't crank the music up. If you're looking for SSB on a $45 small radio, good luck. Bring on at least another hundred bucks. C Crane has the best mini, the CC Skywave SSB. It's spendy but worth the money if you can afford it, and are willing to set up a long wire. But SSB is usually just people talking about their radios and having competitions with others getting contacts. But during emergencies, they (The SSB'ers) are going to be the ones you'd want to be able to tune into. They are the true preppers. So choose your radios. This is a great power out radio.

This is the one your looking for !!!
This is a Swiss army knife of a radio. It does so much. I bought this to add to my hurricane kit, I live in a concrete building and it gets great reception when other radios don’t . The weather band comes in loud and clear unlike my dedicated weather radio. It’s rechargeable and also acts as a battery pack. You can charge it with solar or the hand crank which will be useful after a hurricane . It’s USB-C so you can charger it from the wall.

Big Performance, Small Package
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Seriously enjoyed this little dude. The solar charging is extremely fast, as soon as it hits sunlight it's charging. I picked up great reception even in Calaveras State Park among all the big trees. The flashlight is great and the emergency siren got everyone's attention around the campfire. Seriously, if you're looking for a camping radio that doesn't take a lot of space, this is your buy. As far as the other bands… The weather band works great, I wasn't able to get anything on a short wave, but that's probably a me problem.

A Must Have for Your Emergency Supplies
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The most important item to have in your "just in case" emergency kit is to have the old-fashioned way of listening to communications as to what is happening around you. If cell towers fail, there are still radio waves. In a really big disaster, it is the ham radio operators giving out the only information until resources can be brought in.

Great radio and very versatile
This radio is a great combination of utility, quality, and diverse functionality. I found it to be so useful, I have purchased the upgraded version, too. I put this 319 in a faraday bag along with some additional power cords and have it set aside for any unplanned or emergency needs. I use the upgraded digital version from this same manufacturer as my go to for most regular needs (love it's Bluetooth phone app). Having the 319 charged and protected in a faraday bag provides a comfort level in the event of a SHTF situation.
