Functionally works good. In some cases it does work to improve reception. Lost my old one so I had to replace it. Because it does do a nice job.

Can be very helpful for short wave and medium when employed in front of a window or outdoors. Good convient,design.

From the short time I've had this antenna it seems to work really well. I primarily wanted to see if it would improve the reception of a couple of low power regional FM stations ....and it did, so I'm happy. The "winding" mechanism in the case seems to work okay as well.

It works as advertised, it's not as good as a cut-to-tune antenna and doesn't claim to be. But an antenna I can clamp on a smaller HF radio and listen to things? Works fine.

Works pretty well for inside better outside

I've used this antenna extension to bring in far away FM and Short Wave stations. I've tried it on a couple of different radio's and it works great. Good value for the money and fast shipping. You should buy one to clip to your own radio's antenna especially in case of emergency. Oh, and my truck has a vertical rod type antenna and when I'm parked somewhere, I can clip this antenna extension to bring in extra AM or FM stations. It works! It's easy and fast to reel back into it's portable case with just a finger. I sincerely recommend it.
