And a BOOK.It happened on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.Morning, around 10:00. I had the night before received a notification from Amazon that THE BOOK was on its way, so I was in a good mood. I decided to flip through Journal 3, which I've had for years now, to uncover some more of its hidden secrets for fun. I landed on the Blendin Letter page, it looked like an easy enough cipher at first glance, so I started investigating.I then remembered: My wife likes this kinda stuff too! So I waited for her to wake up and presented her the Blendin Letter page to decipher with me. She sat down, happily taking the book and starting the process over breakfast. In the meantime, I'd do some online research as to what kind of cipher the page may use. Having found the name of the cipher used, I brought up the Wikipedia link for it and rushed over to my wife, who was still trying to figure out what cipher it was using.But instead of glee, the colour fades from her face and she glares at me. "I know it's a cypher" she said, "I don't know which one". It was something along those lines, at least - Something absurd and nonsensical that even now she admits was nonsense. Try as I might to show her the cipher used and encourage her to carry on from there, the anger resumed. And then the breaking point hit.We were both shouting, screaming at each other at the top of our lungs "I was just trying to have fun with you", "You're taking the fun away from it", "It's just a children's book" and others were tossed around.Eventually, in a rage, I threw Journal 3 on the ground and demanded my wife leave. It was a heated fight, but nothing we haven't had before...... Though not like this - This was for no reason, no purpose. She just... Got mad. And I just... Got mad.We were bothmadAfter an hour or two of me by myself trying to calm down, I groggily meandered from my bed back to the living room to pick up Journal 3 - I've always been very tidy, bordering on autism.But Journal 3 was partiallydestroyedI lamented this; I dearly treasured that book - Gravity Falls is a show I'll never forget.But then I rememberedI had the night before received a notification from Amazon thatTHE BOOKwas on its wayClick. My mail slot snaps, signifying someone dropping some post. Didn't knock or anything - Amazon guy just quietly slipped the parcel through and left.I go and pick upTHE BOOKI slowly tear open the brown Amazon packaging to reveal the cover. Black as charcoal, with a Blood Red recess in the shape of [REDACTED]. It felt... Off. Looked off. Unlike any book I'd seen or held before. It was playful and flippant, the text on the jacket back containing the expected comedic prose we all know [REDACTED] for. But... Something was off that I couldn't quite figure out. All this misfortune, and for practically no reason.Click. My wife just got back and went into the bathroom. Good, she's here.Oh well, it's just a book. I'm a creature of reason and logic - This packaged and manufactured stack of paper, one of tens of thousands. My wife just got back anyways, and I watched her take her prescribed dose of medical cannabis so all we have to do is talk it out.What was I thinking? It couldn't possibly be for real, stupid book. In fact, I challenge this book to-my wife was goneMy wife left her phone, which she always keeps on her to a degree of valid health concerns, and stepped out almost as soon as she had returned. She took with her small, blank flash cards, a pen, and nothing else. I also realised, too late, that she never took that dose after all - She just stored a small drag in her mouth and puffed it out without inhaling.... And insisted I take some, to calm down too...She got me high, so I couldn't chase after her, and left without any means to locate or get in touch with her.and she's always hads**cidal tendenciesI lay there, wondering out loud why I challenged THE BOOK. By now, I was convinced of the truth.THE BOOK OF BILL IS CURSEDI lay there in bed, curled up around myself, laughing and crying. I couldn't do anything. Far as I knew, my wife was truly dead and I was waiting for the police to come and let me know. Every noise that came from out the window sounded like a cop, a radio, stomping boots, someone coming to tell me that my wife had died. This wasn't the first time she's tried something like this... Only nowI couldn'tdoanythingWhy did I challenge THE BOOK!?What was I going to do!? What's going to happen to me!?Click.Wife was fine in the end - She'd just gone to the ER to get immediate mental health first-aid...... but no-one saw her there anyways... she had tried to call the mental health hotline... but to no avail... she was on the verge of doing something horrific, and no-one whose job it was to help her was there to help her... she had even given them my number to call... And they did...... when she was already home, safe, with me, no longer in need of their help...We laughed... Pre-teen and teen content? Good quality book, attractive and alluring graphics. Entertaining. Reader Discretion advised... not in matching with age range for cartoon version of Gravity Falls (even though title isn't associated with "Book of Bill")...

I absolutely love gravity falls and was so excited when this came out. Delivery was quick. I finished it in a day which is really bc I don't usually read. The humor was really good in it too. Definitely worth the money. 😍😍❤️

i got this book as a gift for my boyfriend who loves this show, it’s such a cool and fun read i definitely recommend it to fans of gravity falls

I bought this book for fun but now Bill is inside my walls.He has eaten the insulation in there and I can hear him scratching at night.He has started to appear in my dreams and I can hear him whispering “soon”…BE WARNED!!!(really nice art though)

The book arrived in pretty rough shape, the cover was creased, and the pages are weirdly wavy, along with an ink splotch on the top. However, the book is so amazing I couldn't care less. The sheer amount of love and detail put into the art and writing and overall execution makes this a joy to read. Both funny and interesting. One of my favourite books at the moment. 100% recommend and was worth the wait :)
