Great for traveling!
While traveling, I needed a safe way to dispose of the pen tips I use with in online cartridges. These were small enough to fit with my medical supplies, but large enough to hold a week’s worth of tips. I did have to be careful and not move the top too far, as that would seal the container for disposal before I arrived back home.

Great little travel container to dispose of used needles and lancets, can’t beat the price for 3, highly recommend this product if you’re diabetic.

For Travel Sharps Container.
These small sharps containers are great for travel and held my lancets perfectly. The hole at the top was too small for the needles to my insulin pens though. They would work for regular needles without problem though. They are red, easily visible for TSA and have a nice cover that slides to close. I just used them on my latest trip & they were great.

Perfect
These are perfect. so perfect. International travel must have. Size is great. Value is amazing, and lockability is perfect for a trip, where you have to have your needles secure.

update: unsafe to carry in a pocket or bag
The first one of these I used, while much more awkward than the unfortunately discontinued BD SafeClip, worked okay.On a vacation, the second container locked itself closed while in my pocket, rendering it useless with only a few needles in it.The third one OPENED itself in my pocket multiple times. The last time, three used needles spilled out into my pocket, and I, unaware it had happened, jabbed myself with one of them. I threw the remaining containers into the recycling. If you use this product do NOT carry it in your pocket or a bag (which is the entire point...) and be careful.

Opening too small for insulin injector pin needles.
Good size and convenient. Problem is the opening is too small for my insulin needles... Which is kinda the whole point..It's fine for lances.
