Good quality fish oil
Efamol has been involved in the research and development of Essential Fatty Acid supplements for over 40 years. It is owned by Wassen, another long established brand that specializes in minerals. So there is a background of knowledge and expertise in these supplements.I like this brand and always find taking fish oils beneficial for body, skin and brain.I take omegas for a couple of months, have a break, then start again. These capsules are small and easy to take. They are also clear, which I like best as you can see the contents. These also have a good long shelf life until 2026.No issues or side effects or upsets.

High quality suppliment
I'm a real old cynic about nutritional supplements - so many crazy claims and passing fads which seldom seem to work. But these are really excellent quality, and they come with no outlandish, unsupported claims. The documentation is good, the packaging excellent and the actual capsules are easy to swallow and pretty much totally flavourless. Not cheap, but they are very good quality and I will be getting more.

Good strength but pricey
They are good tablets which are easy to swallow, even for my 6 year old, and are ordorless. The down side is the price - for adults you need to take two so this ends up being 50p per day for adults which is a bit on the pricey side when you look at other fish oil capsules on the market

Decent dose, check prices
Unfortunately since ordering this product for review the price is no longer available on the sales page so I cannot do a value for money comparison. However:It is known that Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA, found in fish, and ALA, found in plants) are very good for you, so no problem there; and the dose per capsule is within the general range found in most products on Amazon (350-550mg of Omega 3 acids per capsule; in this one's case, 450mg).Things to watch out for, if you are doing your own comparison, are the usual things with supplements - the advertised strength may be per serving, not per tablet, so just because one bottle labelled 400mg has 90 tablets and another at the same price has only 60 does not necessarily mean that the former is better value for money - if its tablets are in fact just 200mg and the serving is 2 tablets, it's far worse value if the latter actually contains 400mg tablets.Similarly, with fish oil products the label may state "1000mg fish oil" but only a percentage of this will be Omega 3 fatty acids. This one's label is honest - it clearly states 750mg fish oil, of which 450mg Omega 3. So that's good, and it's a good dose.So all in all, a good product in an easy to swallow capsule at a good strength, clearly labelled. But I can't do a value for money comparison.

Individually wrapped Omega 3 capsules
Each of these capsules are individually wrapped, so you know they are going to be as fresh as can be. They come in a box with 4 'sheets' of 15 capsules. You take 1-2 per day.If you were to take 2 per day, these would last you 1 month. They are very easy to swallow, and I've not experienced any after taste so far.I'd recommend them.

OK Omega 3
These 450mg blister-pack Omega3 capsules from Efamol are as claimed, and seem to have worked for me at one a day over the last month.I’m not in favour of blister-packs, but they do have some merit if for putting some in a suitcase for a few nights away.I normally use supermarket cheapest 500mg Omega3 capsules with cheapest separate Glucosamine tablets to mitigate pain in joints and spine. It works because if I miss either for a few days the pains return, but two days back with both pills they go away again. Alternate days of 500mg Omega3 are not quite enough, and 1000mg per day is a waste, but with 1000mg on alternate days the pains are held at bay – if I remember which day I am on.

Capsules' contents well-protected from becoming rancid by foil & blister packs. Just one a day.
Some research has suggested that omega 3 oil in supplement form has no beneficial effects, unlike omega 3 found in foods eg oily fish. However, it seems to me this research may not have been very high quality, and equally the oil used may not have been the best quality or the right dose. I am keen to eat as much oily fish as possible, but sometimes I just can't face the thought of yet another portion of salmon. I am therefore pinning my hopes on these softgel capsules, made in the UK, distilled, purified and tested.I hope Omega 3 will help my brain, eyes and heart. I am very happy that Efamol considers just one of their softgels daily will be enough to deliver these benefits. I am glad the caps are quite small, although I find any size of capsule easier to swallow than the smallest tablet. I have here 60 caps ie enough for 2 months. I appreciate the peace of mind of knowing I don't need to re-order for a while. The current price of £15.29 for 60 caps / 60 days is probably right for such a high quality supplement.

Expensive Omega 3 capsules in blister packs
This is a review of Efamol High Strength Omega 3 Capsules. These capsules each contain 450 mg of Omega 3, of which 375 mg is DHA and 52 mg is EPA. This is indeed a good, high strength; but even at the currently discounted price of £15.29 for 60 tablets, this product is expensive. There are many other Omega 3 products available on Amazon, which are much better value (more capsules for similar price). One factor is obviously that these capsules are individually sealed in blister packs (rather than loose in a bottle). To me that is unnecessary and wasteful, but if that is something you want for convenience (e.g. to carry tablets with you) then you will pay extra for that convenience.
