Excellent dirt and water repellent for the money
I am writing to express my appreciation of this great product I recently purchased from Amazon. I applied it to my 2014 Lexus RX-350 as directed. However, after a few hours, I noticed unsightly spots on the car’s windshield. I have to say I was concerned and after reading these other bad reviews I thought I made a bad choice on buying. However, after carefully analyzing what I did I realized that I didn’t removed the product completely as directed in the instructions. To remediate I just wet my car windshield and other spotted windows using a a thick microfiber to dry it once more time. I was able to remove the spots by putting muscle into it until all spots were gone. Now my truck has the best shine it had in a long time. It’s been two weeks and after driving my truck through rain a couple of times the truck is as shinny as the first day I applied the product.Based on my experience, I’ll do my wife’s car next but this time I’ll work a section at the time instead the whole car at once as I did with the truck. The product performs as published and is really easy to use. Just don’t rush it like I did and you’ll get the results you desire.Regarding the value for the money and durability I’m sure I can talk about that when I buy my next bottle next year.

It Shines
I ordered this per my husband. He has used a few times and it works great. Just as stated.

Doesn’t work
Zero starts! Worse product on the market. Garage kept vehicle, washed, sprayed on while wet, rinsed as advertised and now can’t get it off. Spots all over and nothing seems to take it off. So far I’m 6 hours in on a 45 minute job. DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY!!! Buy something else that works like Shine Armor, and it’s cheaper!

Still a little early but, so far interesting and good, though maybe "expensive"
I ordered a bottle to give this product a try. As a detailer from decades ago, I've used a lot of products and am always on the lookout for easier-to-use and better products as time passes. The bottle is indeed a little larger than some, though for the cost and how much product one actually uses it might end up being a bit of a red herring. Ideally one should only need a very small amount to do an entire car, however, given conditions, one might be using quite a bit more than desired. Thus, the bottle size is really just compensating for actual product use to compare against competition which uses less for the size of their container. For kicks and giggles, I cleaned a cultured marble sink and sprayed and applied a coating to it. So far, in two days of use, it has held up quite remarkably - still beading and shedding water like crazy, and still smooth to the touch. EDIT: UPDATE 2 days later - laundry detergent in the sink seems to break the product down pretty quickly. Where the detergent made contact with the sink, there is a noticeable loss of beading and hydrophobicity. My goal for this trial, based on the small amount of usage allegedly required, was to hit three cars - an Ascent, a Forester, and a Tribeca. I didn't even get to finish of the Forester - the Ascent was the first washed and treated. The conditions were a bit breezy (not windy - in other words, just fine for most car care activities), mostly overcast day with some breaks of sunshine. Temperature was around 60 degrees. As I don't have a garage and the sole carport was occupied, the driveway was the only option. This is likely representative of most DIY'ers and thus the weather is a factor.I followed the "spray and rinse" recommendation (after washing the car of course), as this was the main purpose of seeing how this performed in both application and result. The product very easily atomizes out of the sprayer, which also appears to be a high-volume nozzle, and the breeze carried away a great deal of product instead of that product populating the surface as desired. As a result, the Ascent took almost 3/4 of that bottle to treat. I used a spray-gun like method to apply in order to be as judicious as possible with the coverage, and had to keep the nozzle closer to the surface (about 6 inches to a foot) that I would have liked due to the atomization. Normally, if there were no breeze, holding the bottle further away would give greater coverage and result in less product used. But such was not the case here. The Ascent is still a rather large vehicle and would use more than the maker's example BMW anyway. So, for one coat, for math's sake, that's a $30 application, and if that were to hold true per wash (as they recommend a spray down after each wash to maintain the coating), that could add up rather quickly. So that was the biggest downside I've currently observed.Once applied, and rinsed, there is definitely a coating on the car. By feel, this seems to be the "thickest" coating I've come across and definitely one of the smoothest I've ever felt. The Ascent was not clay-barred for this wash and coating (it didn't really need it either), and the paint was relatively smooth to the touch prior to application. After application it was quite slick, noticeably smoother, quite glossy, and richer in color. I am impressed by that - big plus there! In "apply and rinse" category it definitely performed as advertised.Unfortunately, I couldn't stretch the bottle to cover the next car - the Forester. I could not finish the front passenger door panel, that side's wheels, nor the front grill/bumper. I was able to coat everything else. From a distance, the cars look absolutely fantastic, props there! Up close goes without saying - colors and details really pop.Later, having moved the Ascent back into the driveway, I noticed an oily film on the glass and paint that could be seen at the proper light angle. I tried taking a wet towel (from drying the car) to buff it off and simply could not clear that up. I've only experienced this on one other product (which I won't mention, though it has an F in the name), and didn't care for that. I do know that oils make colors warmer/richer, so I wouldn't be surprised if this were part of the "Triphene" combination. However, I don't like seeing that sheen and it remains to be seen if that evaporates or is absorbed and thus disappears. Seeing that makes me wonder if there is some sort of trickery going on here as well given my experience with that other product and the lack of professional detailer reviews as yet on this product.Longevity remains to be seen. If what is going on with that sink is any indication, one coat may last quite a while. I will say, though, that other coatings that require a little more work to apply would last just as long and in using less product would come out to be more cost effective. So, I'll see what happens as time goes by and how long this product holds up - the Forester is constantly exposed to the elements and I manage to get maybe 6 months of longevity in even the staunchest of products (such as that which has a 3 and a G in its name). For now, I'll give it 4 stars in the Durability category and will update down the road as I see how this wears.

Just Buy It Already!
This stuff is the bomb! I used this on my jeep and now everything time it rains, the water just beads up and slides off. Super Easy to use. Wash and Dry your vehicle, then spray this stuff and wipe away. That's it. It has rained a lot lately and I probably washed my Jeep a couple months ago and it still looks clean.

Wow
Saw this and was like lets give it a try since I already have tried so many similar products most of which gets the job done. What attracted me to this was the spray and rinse method to which I was like there's no way this will stick to your vehicle but to my surprise once drying my car the shine was super impressive. I found myself holding my ceramic spray i like to use after washing like what's the point how much of a shine could you want. Thus saving my ceramic spray for touch ups. Glass wheels, plastic trim, all glowing. Usually will go over the trim with a light coat of tire shine but again did not need it. Saw one review stateing white cloudiness yes, got the same which was from me not believing you could just rinse this right off so i left it on longer but light buffing and it's shiny time. Another plus was the cloth which came with it. Theres two, one your standard microfiber cloth but the other was the softest cloth I have yet to come in contact with for your car. Feels like cotton for babies or something lol wish they sold these separate. Don't know how it will hold up but so far so good. Pricey but if you love for your ride to bling this is it.

do NOT use on glass/winshield
This was indeed easy to use, after a thorough cleaning, i sprayed on and rinsed off. It provides some luster and prevents dirt and rain/road spray, and does make it easier for the automatic car wash to remove brake dust from the rims. However, it leaves a FILM on the windshield that will prevent me from using this again, it is bad. In the sun, you can see the haze and runs from drops when it was rinsed off. I will NOT buy again for that reason, but would consider using it on rims ONLY. I'm trying to find something to remove from windshield.
