SchleichWild Life New 2024 Wild Animal Toy Fire Salamander Lizard Figurine

Our 6-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son absolutely love Schleich figures and we collect them as a family. We usually only buy one of each figure, but both kids really wanted one for themselves. As they are close in age and homeschool, it's nice to treat our kids when we can. And, these figure also serve as learning aids. The details on these fire salamanders are excellent, but as you can see, the yellow paint on one of the figures is already chipping. I'm still giving five stars as the kids love these figures and they are typical Schleich quality.

Maybe it was me but I presumed it was going to be bigger, I actually got this as a gift for my brother and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed when I opened the package due to the size. I apologize for the photos I used a hair clip to reference for the size. Other than the size it’s beautiful the color is gorgeous and it looks of good quality. It’s just disappointing in size. Size matters for something’s and this is one of.

I was expecting closer to life size of an adult salamander. Probably my bad for not looking at dimensions though. Otherwise my daughter was so excited to get this critter after we experienced finding a real one in our garden this summer.
