Mindfulness at its core.
Such a great book. Already recommending to friends, family and patients! Bought 4 books so far one for me and 3 for them. I love the weekly extra exercises. It might take a bit of time to get into doing daily but it’s definitely worth it. It really helps to focus on things that matter so that you can bring about change if that’s needed/wanted. The tips at the beginning of the book are brilliant. Live life. Love life.

Simple yet magic!
I'm fortunate to have spent some time recently with a coach who has been imparting mindfulness tools for me to use. I'm new to journaling and I've hunted high and low for what 'fits' me best (phone apps as well as actual books), and I think I may have found it with this treasure.Reading the first 20 pages (information about mindfulness and instruction on how to use the journal) echoed everything the coach has said. The journal can be completed with a minimal data set or with as much detail as you want. The aim is to commit to 7 (not necessarily consecutive) days of a few minutes in the morning and evening to identify Emotion, Intention, Energy and back to Emotion (you'll need to read the book for more info!) in a non-judgemental and caring way, if that makes sense!Yes, pen and paper could be used if so inclined, however, while the layout of the pages in the rest of the book is repeated, each day (undated - so if you miss a date you can just pick up where you left off) includes different 'emotion' words to choose from and a new meaningful quotes.I am excited to start exploring mindfulness more, er, fully, with the aid of this journal.

Limiting Scope - The Mindful Life Journal
This is a very nice journal, not too large so easy to carry about. It requires an entry for every day so this is good. You have space to state a feeling and there are key start off sentences that you off so it is nice and easier for anyone to complete. However, a sentence start with "My energy level dropped when" and I believe this could lead people into looking for something that was negative or energy dropping, when in reality, you might not have experiencedthis drop in energy. In other words, you are led to look for something that may not have not had to look for which could have an adverse effect on the reflection that is taking place. Now this may not be a problem for most but I did want to draw people's attention to it. You only get one page per day.

It’s a happy book.
More for a young person or someone just starting their emotional journey.Personally, i dont like the fact that theres one negative question on every page - i feel it’s better to focus on positive, but thats why i say its more for a young person or starter, when you need to find out whats draining you/ holding you back and identify those patterns. So for a young person/ starter-outer, it’s great, seems helpful in nurturing emotional awareness and helping to foster emotional intelligence. I think it seems great. The quotes are actually really good and its uplifting attitude makes you smile. It’s a happy book and i think it would benefit anyone, but most especially young people and people starting out with their mindfulness.

Great content, shame about the quality of paper and layout
I have a lot of journals due to my work as a coach. The content is great but the paper is cheap looking and the typography could be better. So I felt I couldn't use these with my corporate clients which is a shame. If you are looking for a journal that is structured and easy to stick to for personal use, then this would work for you.

Highly recommended, well thought out.
Nearly finished my first three months, enjoying using it and benefitting in many ways, like the daily words, weekly excercises and structure. Highly recommended starter in mindfulness and journaling.
