Instructions are a little hard to follow being badly translated but are hilarious, our favourite is the allen key refered to as "install the tool".Not too hard to build if you pay attention and looks and works well.

Unexpectedly robust, the assembly process was quite laborious.

Comes flat packed. You might need to take a photo of the instructions to read them as they are tiny but it is relatively easy to follow and put together if you can do Ikea type things.Solid wooden construction that works really well as both a chair and steps. The chair matches the height and general look of my other wooden chairs which is great although I might paint it as the colour is not great but that is a minor point. Super easy to convert from chair to ladder and back. I've no concerns standing on it as a ladder other than my own balance. Currently using it as a plant stand!Comes with extra screws, a small useful screw driver and a random gloves (in case I don't wanna get my hand dirty?!).All round super happy

Good looking robust chair / ladder

There are letters A-D (x2) and numbers, but no other English. I'm still not clear where to put the safety catches. But pieces went together quite well and the images could be followed. We are in England, I have an English Name - I'm sure no one thinks I can follow the instructions as written.

I’m very happy with this chair/ladder as I wanted a chair for my art room and also to be able to open my loft hatch and this is great for both. I don’t think I’d use the top rung on the ladder due to stability, but I can reach from the third step. I was also pleased that the seat was one piece. Some of the hinged seat pads looked like they could snag clothing. The instructions are in Chinese Mandarin and small, but looking at the pictures makes it reasonably easy to put together. A supplied screwdriver and one glove was a nice touch, but my cordless screwdriver made it easier.

Went together well - and useful in both its functions

The quality on this is very high. There are similar items which are more expensive, unless they are bigger or ready made, they will not be worth the extra. I had a slight problem with one of the steps, as there were two very similar sized steps and I put one in the wrong place and damaged it, which was a shame, but was my fault. It didn't fit and I made it fit badly, before realising the issue. The instructions are reasonable but contain photos which are too small to interpret easily. It is not the easiest assembly, but one person should be able to do it on their own and if I had to do it again it would be a lot easier. It is sturdy enough, but a little narrow, so you coulg use it to change a light bulb or fitch a book from a high shelf, but going higher than the second step, though possible, would require care. Those are my only complaints and I would recommend it.
